today went to the range and forgot my glove and said I'll do it bareback. hahahah Yeah right ouch this will hurt for a couple of days. Let this be a warning to all.

To day went out for a 9 holer. First hole, toped 3 iron to 150 yards to green,caught a flier with PW and hit over the green into the street and careened into a car lot. Second hole slice it into with in 10 yards of a big plate glass window. Third hole sliced into the trees, toped to with in 100 yards. Fourth hole hoked left of the green with 5 iron, chunked two pitches, 5 on a par 3. 5th hole sliced into the next fairway not once but twice, two tops later 125 yards out. Sixth hole yet another slice into the next fairway, pitching wedge into the tree. Seventh hole short par three (109) bladed and sliced a gap wedge right of the green, although i almost pitched it in. *th hole bomb down the middle hell yeah, but got about a foot of role. It was so good i wanted to hit more like it, nope the pop up hooks later (and a lot of walking) pitching wedge two 8 feet of the flag. Yep my first green of the nine. Ninth hole short par 4 (247) 5 wood 30 yards left of the green, pitch into a tree full of honey bees, They scatter and i subsequently scatter away from them. A couple of minutes later a chunked pitch another pitch 20 feet by the hole and two puts to make it a 55. Now for someone who gets 3 or 4 green in a nine and usually finds the fairway (5 0f 7) and is fairly accurate with short irons and wedges and most of the time shoots low 40 high 30, i think this day sucked. I think i would have been better of taking the 11 bucks for greens fees and went to the Dairy Queen. I had thought about joining this course But after almost hitting a car in a car lot, almost breaking a window and pitching into a tree full of honey bees i think a better look for something out of harms way.

of course you can play a provisonal ball, which means if you think the first is lost tee another one up while you are there, still take a penalty for the second if the first is not found. Also saves time versus going back to the tee http://www.usga.org/questions/faqs/rules_search.asp

the one i am looking at for next year is 1,150 with no initiation. The greens fees on the weekend are 30 or 44 with a cart. Also no monthly food bills or proshop, plus free use of the range and a locker. And 10% discount on food and guest dicounts on greens fees

you dont understand i didnt want a cart they made me take and pay for one

28.00 for 9 on a weekend and you must take a cart. That settles it I'm getting a membership

do membership realy pay off or are they a waste of money. ON average how many rounds do you have to play to get your moneys worth

just go to a shop and tell them what you looking for and also to have them fitted, as far as brand you get what you pay for. sorry if i didn't help

any time i get away from the ol lady and to the course i wana play, but sometimes she wont give me a pardon for that long so i hit the range

i would say my average is 95. i have shot my lowest score on the hardest coures and my worst on the shortest so who knows

i didnt know how to figure it so i guessed so shoot me home course is rend lake. Not that hard but verry fast greens

i play once a week and the lowest i ever shot was a 90 and that was completely by the rules. Going to try and practice all next week then see how the week end goes. But im usaly good for 2 birdies and four or five pars

my wife is looking at me funny when im laughing at the guy with the neck brace funny stuff

the reason for legnth on some courses, is because they can bomb it with impunity because of their short game skills. if you are good around the greens then go for it otherwise lay up to a good yardadge and stick it close

by the way red how is the team doing? And as far as the topic the better i play the more i play by the rules, trying ot get a true score.

on my back swing my elbow is flying, what is the best practice drill to keep my elbow down, and not cause slices

follow through looks alot like (dont castrate me) tiger. And ive worked really hard at it to. With the club and my hands finishing high in the air. as far as the whole swing I dont really know

i thought they wer saying it was because the course couldnt drain anymore and they wer going to put a syatem in to draw the water away frome the greens

ok since last post took some of your advise and worked on my set up and the results wer great. I hit every par 3 and had makeable birde puts on all. Completely smoke the driver on one hole and put a 3/4 sand wedge to six feet. Seeing how i couldnt hit the broad side of a barn with a sandwedge this is great. Every iron went stright at my target no hooks at all. Bigest thing was i wasnt transefing my weight to my left side causing me to hang back and close the face to early. I still see new clubs in my futre, but now its a new putter. Oh and i almost holed every put, atleast got them within tapin range. Best round all year
