from my personal experience women can screw up everything. Including golf. Usually the hotter she is the more trouble your gonna have. trick is to find a smokin hottie who doesnt mind you golfing, or drinking, or smoking or any of the other bad habits you have.

Im just starting out and i wear cargo shorts and my shirt untucked. The untucked shirt is because its like 110 in south texas and the cargo shorts is because i carry alot of crap (xtra balls,tees,skycaddie,notebook and pen,) and other random crap. So for me its functional. Plus i only play local muni's so its not a problem. Plus id rather be spending my money on clubs and other stuff rather than clothes just to impress some old snobs.

What a coincidence. i was just thinkin about this today. for the money id put in a range i figure i need it 8 acres by 4acres, with accurate yardages. Awesome

I keep mine in the house. clubs are way tooo expensive to even take a chance.

Got a skycaddie sg5 and i love it. Everyone i know is always calling to borrow it. The screen is in color and easy to read. i can figure my avg drive distances using the ball mark feature. It has different veiws that u can select depending on how u wanna c the course, It tells my good layup spots and distances to carry hazards all on one screen. dont know if its waterproof or not but dont know if my cellphone is either. Its not hard to keep things from gettin wet. Played 5 rounds with it and the batteries only halfway down. And it fully recharges in about 20 minutes Ive been out on a cloudy day and it hasnt given me a problem yet. it does take a minute to start up, but u just start it up in parking lot or clubhouse or range and itll be ready for you on the first tee.

Maybe he shouldve stuck with the 3 wood. At least he was shooting even

I was watchin the US open and noticing most if not all of the guys ive seen putt with blade style putters. Whats the reason for this. Also which pros do you know of that use a mallette?

272 just two days ago. I had to get a good bounce though cause i usually hit 200 to 230 depending on if im hittin em good.

this came up in another thread, So how long does it take you guys to play 18 holes if things are going smoothly. No ones slowing you down or rushing you. How long do you average.

I totally agree. And whats with then telling you its slow up ahead. i know its slow. Do something about it.

I played yesteday in winds of 30 with gusts of 50. On some holes the ball just plain died. and on others when the wind was with me i was blastin em like i was tiger.

Id say let em know what theyre doing wrong. when i first started i played with 3 other guys and none of us knew the rules. So when i went without them the first time and got paired up i looked like an A$$. I just didnt know any better. So now i make it a point to at least let someone know that theyre doing something wrong. If they dont fix it thats theyre fault, but at least they know.

i find that when i walk in the South texas heat i tend to get tired and it affects my score. It can reach 100f down here for a month at a time. and if im hot and sweaty i rush my shots to try and get the round over faster. So less time in the heat= lower score. thats just me though

I just got a 4hy and i cant figure out how far its "supposed" to go. I can hit it anywhere for 100 to 220 depending on how i hit it. its my first hybrid and im having trouble integrating it into my game. So how far do most of you hit ur 4 hybrid or any other hybrid

Anyone tried these out. Im thinking about getting a set. was just curioius as to ur experiences with them. thanks

somewhere around 130 my first time out. and somewhere around 150 my second. there was a two year gap in between those two rounds, and no practice. The second round was played on a tough course with lots of water. I swear i lost at least 1 ball every hole that day if not more. I learned to stay away from courses with alot of water till i get my driver under control

Hey guys i got a question. I just got into golf and was thinking about getting a gps unit to help me judge distance, it would really help with club selection. The only problem is that i dont wanna spend 400 on something that i dont need. What are the pros and cons of of GPS and rangefinders. Should i just get a rangefinder
