  1. Man I feel old all of a sudden! I was born in 1978
  2. Really enjoying mine so far. I didn't think I would appreciate the magnetic ball pocket so much, but it is really nice not having to mess with a zipper to grab something quickly. I also really like how the compartments are arranged.

  4. This would work if the transmitter was smaller and had a little more range...
  5. I need to work on putting and this sounds like a great practice routine. Thanks!
  6. I have one set of old Wilsons. They need replacing!
  7. I'm going to try and get my swing recorded soon. Check out this website - it has movies of good swings that you can watch in slow motion.
  8. Same here.
  9. I'm sorry you keep losing wedges - why not try putting it down between the hole and your golf cart/bag? Or lay it on top of the flag stick - you're sure to pick it up
  10. Still contemplating this purchase - any opinions?
  11. Shoot - I'm sorry I meant to say left foot. I'm a righty. Thanks for the pictures they are helpful - I think my posture is off. I don't stick my butt out enough I think. I'll work on it.
  12. I constantly send drives very high and not very far. I slice a good bit as well. I'm using a knock off 10* driver - not sure what it is a knock off of but it says knight on it. I can look at it later and give more details. I tee the ball with about half above the head, and the ball fairly far up in my stance - few inches inside my right foot. I've tried moving it closer to the middle of the stance and it didn't seem to help. I know - I need to get fitted but money is tight right now. Any tips?
  13. That's pretty funny - good gag gift
  14. Stick with what you love!
  15. I'm a 3 putt machine. Chipping and putting are ripping me a new one! Played 9 holes this afternoon and shot a 56 because of putting so damn much.
  16. Ok you guys are scaring me - I plan on buying used clubs at some point. When that time comes I'll just have to get opinions from the people here.
  17. Those birdie balls look cool, but they go far enough to defeat the purpose of practicing in the back yard. (at least my back yard)
  18. I've been golfing seriously for a few weeks, and played about 10 rounds in my life. I've never made par (yet) on a par 4. I've bogied and double bogied but never par. I did finally make par on a short downhill par 3 the other day...made my day to hit the green in one :)
  19. Golf Cart and shed: $1000 (splitting cost with friend) Callaway bag: $120 Next up is a set of used cavity backs, driver, a hybrid or two, a wedge or two and a putter. Oh and some shoes.
  20. I decided to use my driver off the deck yesterday after a flubbed first shot. It went 200 yards but sliced into some bushes never to be found...
  21. There should be an option for "whenever I can"
  22. 2 things - 1. Relax. 2. Follow through.
  23. I hope this philosophy works because my clubs are some old muscleback Wilsons and the wife will not approve any new club purchases until next season.
  24. Thanks for the tips - I'm still learning for sure. The left elbow has to bend a bit, but I think it helps my swing to just think about my left arm being straight all the way through. People said this was a mental game and I sure believe it now. One simple change in your head can yield drastic results from a swing that didn't really feel different.
  25. Sit on the back porch and drink beer and smoke cigars.
