  1. No pictures on the scorecard. I'll take any bird I can get.
  2. Might hit 60 tomorrow but we're looking at accumulating snow on Thursday. There hasn't been enough melt to play even with some warmer temps here and there.
  3. Reed doesn't work out and comes across as super arrogant. Now, if he would just start partying hard, we would have a real-life Kenny Powers in golf. Which would be awesome. "Fundamentals are a crutch for the talentless." "I play real sports. Not trying to be the best at exercising."
  4. Depends on the variables of the specific shot, but I generally play this with a 60 degree wedge. I adjust the length of my swing with the distance and try to not go after it in order to control spin.
  5. Put a Golf Pride Players Wrap grip on my putter and picked up another Titleist hat while I was there.
  6. Day 6. Keep on truckin.
  7. Pro and college football. New England Patriots and Florida State Seminoles.
  8. Gee, never heard this one before. The old 25 cap that pipes it 300 off the tee and is surgical with his full iron shots only to be foiled by chipping, pitching, and putting. Seems reasonable. C'MON MAN!
  9. 1 and 1/2. English and Spanish. I used to be close to fluent in Spanish, but it has been a while since I've used it extensively. I can carry on a conversation easily though.
  10. Scotty's folding like a cheap suit. +4
  11. Cyprian would be a little less than a 2 hour drive for me. If this actually happens on a date that works I'm down.
  12. Bad influences! All of you! Just when I was thinking I'll throw in a set of KBS C-Tapers and be done with it. I always swore I wouldn't become a club ho.
  13. Snap-backs and tattoos... Scott at -2 through 10. Strong start, gotta keep it going.
  14. Day 3. Feeling strong and ready for another day of beating down those cravings.
  15. Ordered from Edwin Watts. They had 10% off, they gave me an instant rebate coupon $10 off, and they had free shipping. Math came out to approx. $7.92 per grip.
  16. Man you guys are good. It's like you can read my mind. I do really like the MP-59s. They are great clubs....BUT I don't really have any budget constraints and a new combo set of Titleist 714 CBs (3-6) and MBs (7-P) might look real nice in the bag. Got some thinking to do.
  17. This a resurrection right here. I knew I was going to quit dip in 2014. Figured Lent was a good time to start. Day 2, cold turkey, no Copenhagen. I'll be posting progress here; just to hold myself accountable. Any one else quitting smoking/dipping/chewing is welcome to do the same. Let's keep it moving.
  18. Agreed. All top of the line stuff. I strongly suggest you go see a fitter though to make sure the equipment fits your swing.
  19. I really like the feel on the GP NDMCs. They are firm and there's a good amount of feedback. I actually have a set of the Black/Red on my clubs now that the all blacks will be replacing. My buddy just put the DriTacs on his clubs and they feel pretty nice. In my opinion they felt a bit softer than the NDMCs but still a very nice grip. I don't think you can go wrong either way, just what feels better to you. Also, not sure if it's a big deal for you to have a cord section on the grip, which the NDMCs do but the DriTacs don't.
  20. Just pulled the trigger on 13 GP New Decade Multicompound grips to re-grip with before the season. I love how the NDMCs look and feel but I wish they were a bit cheaper. I found a decent deal and paid less than $8 per. Went with the all blacks which I'm pumped about. I think they'll look pretty good.
  21. We're supposed to have a a bunch of consecutive days where the temp is over freezing...so that's something. I just hope it's enough to start melting the snow cover that has been on the ground for what seems like FOREVER.
  22. I really like the Golf Pride New Decade MCs but you've already said that they don't work for you so I guess that doesn't help much. I find the standard Golf Pride Tour Velvets to have a softer feel and they can be found for a bargain (around $4.00 a grip). The Golf Pride Tour Wraps are even softer than the Tour Velvets but I don't know how they are durability-wise and I think they may get slippery in wet/sweaty conditions. I would say go for the standard Tour Velvets. The Winn DriTac feel pretty soft as well. I don't have any experience with Pure grips, however, a lot of very knowledgeable folks on this forum sing their praises so I am sure they are a good option as well.
  23. Yes sir. Hope he gets it done.
  24. What thread is this article in? I have a coworker that would fall nicely into that category.
