  1. Make sure you shift your weight and hold your lag slightly longer.
  2. Is there anyone in Arizona with a recommendation for best course?
  3. I have a Ping Anser 4. I thought I putt pretty good with it until I entered my first score into the scorecard application. 37 putts. Ugh.
  4. I'll say it again, No way!
  5. I shot an 87 today. No birdies today but I did get an eagle! After a poor tee shot leaving 275 to the center of the green on a Par 5, I grabbed my 3 wood which I get usually get 250 yards. I hit it flush and right towards the flag. Obviously I wasn't expecting to get it on the green, but when I got there, the pin was in front and my ball was 5 feet short of the hole. I drained the put for my 2nd eagle ever. This is turning out to be a good year so far as I got my first eagle just two months ago!
  6. Definitely. No round should take more than 4 1/2 hours. I consider myself lucky when golfing with a noob. They usually know when to pick up if they get in a bit of trouble on a hole.
  7. Wishing him a quick recovery...and lots of birdies when he returns.
  8. Yeah really. Maybe he meant Km/h? haha. Need to find out his distance.
  9. Normal driver clubhead speed is 105. I can swing faster but there accuracy would be sacrificed.
  10. I reckon. You hit it right on the head.
  11. No we shouldn't. It's relatively new compared to current majors. Booo.. no history.
  12. I wish him the best. I hope he can overcome what he has been lacking over the past few years. I'd love to see him at the top of his game to battle Tiger.
  13. Have you played Wolf Creek? It's my favorite in Mesquite. Its a spectacular looking course but quite difficult. How would you compare the two? www.golfwolfcreek.com
  14. Perhaps. Since the playground section description stated superintendents and architects unite, I thought I would throw this in golf talk (catch all). I'd rather listen to golfer opinions than supers or architects recommending their courses. BTW, Bellerive looks great.
  15. It really depends on the player. For me, definitely putting. Even though I only hit about a third of the greens in a round, I am usually close to the green. Since I two putt a lot, draining every putt would lower my score more than hitting more GIRs.
  16. Thats great information if it's true. It gets hotter here than most places (110+ in July/Aug). I definitely won't be leaving my clubs in the trunk anymore in the dead of summer. Thx!
  17. I agree with Lefty. As for your divot going slightly left. It is possible you are going slightly outside in. One thing I would check is your grip. Ideally you want a neutral grip so it is easier to square up your clubhead. At least for me it is...
  18. Actually Shadowcreek was Steve Wynn's before he sold the Mirage to MGM. It was a private course only for high rollers.
  19. Hey fellow wolfpack fan! I sure have! It was a long time ago though...about 9 years ago. I'm not familiar with Cascata as I don't live there anymore. It must be newer course. Your handicap is really low. Did you play for the Wolfpack?
  20. Course looks nice. Reasonable green fee too for $79.
  21. How lucky is that!?! Saved by the fringe. Nice par!
  22. Wow. I didn't know N. Michigan was a golf destination. Those are two great looking courses...especially Arcadia Bluffs.
  23. Do you notice a difference in your carry distance in Colorado air vs. a course near sea level?
  24. Bulle Rock looks great. I definitely have to hit that up someday. I saw some of your golf excursions. Hope you played the 17th hole well @ Sawgrass!
