I'd have to say Montgomery and Norman during the Johnny Walker Tout in the Philippines,they both ignored and went the opposite way when myself and a couple of my buddies to ask for autographs(we were volunteer "quiet please" sign holders)..LOL! But Els was cool enough to call the rest of our friends watching onto the fairway to sign and take pics with him..

It took me over 10yrs. before I replaced my Tommy Armour 845's with the Taylormade OS2's..Like you,I was attached with my older ones,but the golf technology now really helps golfers like us alot...Go,to your local Pro shop and try a few irons..I tried the R7 TP and the Burner TP for some reason it was the RAC OS2's that I was able to hit...I hope my 2cents helps yopu a bit...

My hole-in-one when I was in my early 20's(im now 33)..I'm just happy that my dad saw it before he passed..(you can say that he's a golf junkie..)
