Well in the winter months i came to forget about the sand trap and all of its wonderful information! Now spring is here and I'm golfing more and I recently remembered of this glorious place ! The other day i broke 100 for the first time. I shot a 95, and won the skins game with my dad, grandpa, and uncle! I think I'm finally starting to get my shot down. I'd also like to reintroduce myself as many of you may not even remember me . I'm from Illinois, about 1 hour south of Chicago. I'm a senior in high school and i will be attending Purdue University in the fall. I just started golfing last year and I can't wait to continue on!

I just broke my driver today. It snapped at the hosel and it was a clean break. Can they cut off some and put it back on?

I've got 2 4dx ironwoods and i love them. I hit them so easily. I can imagine the 3dx would be just as good.

I love the look of my 4dx irons. They are my school colors so they match my bag perfectly.

I had this happen to me yesterday. There was a 160 yard par 3. I hit a 6 iron and stuck the green just barely. We had to play it twice because the course only had 7 holes. So i walk up to the tee box 6 iron in hand. Hit it pure. SKY OVER THE GREEN! I hit the cart path about 10 yards over the green and had a 60 yard shot after that.

don't feel too bad. I played in a match yesterday and was doing pretty well for myself. I had one par, two bogeys, two doubles, and two triples, which is fine for me, BUT i had 2 ELEVENS! We played on a course that had a lot of water and i managed to avoid it all but 2 holes where i went in 3 times each hole. Say i got two doubles on those holes(A par 4 and 5), that would have been a 52. I would have been just fine with that as my average is 55. I've gone into a complete golf slump. I was shooting high 40's low 50's for nine before golf season at my HS. This was my first year playing golf in high school and in general. As soon as the season started I just started choking left and right. Don't know what it is but i can't get a round under 60 and idk what to do.

My golf team plays some games that require us to play together for a while and we had an 8-some that was faster than a foursome.

Just because they don't have head covers doesn't mean they aren't real. Hell if the guy wanted you to believe they were real he would have bought headcovers to make it look more authentic. They could have been used or the guy just wanted to keep the headcover, either way free clubs are free clubs as long as they hit good.

Guys, he's talking about just big berthas. His confusion comes from the fact that the 3 and 4 iron are avalible as regular irons or the "i-brid" shape. The irons you think he wants are they FT I-brids which do retail for a ridiculous amount. Now the big berthas. I wish i would have tried a pair of those out for a while. Callaway just catches my eye so much but i don't have a damn club of theirs in my bag. My dad owns big berthas and i used them in my last match and i loved them. That being said they aren't the type of club that i want. I am in love with my nickent irons. The big berthas have a large topline and if that doesn't matter to you go ahead and buy them. I shot a 60 in my first match and now I threw up two 55's... That's not very good for me. However the #1-5 on my team all throw up under 45 everyday. We had a 38 and a 39 yesterday and lost to a team whose number 5 threw up an even par to save them.

Mx-19 is for a high handicap Mx-25's are for a mid-low landicap and the mx-900's are for a high handicap with some hybrids. I've hit the Mx-19s and the 25's, but not the mx-900's. The 19's are amazing and so are the 25's. The 19's are alot more bulkier and thick and are SO incredibly easy to hit. They go FAR too. I hit them farther than i hit my nickents and they have upped lofts. The mx-25's were very similiar to my nickents but they did feel great. Not hard to hit at all and very beautiful. High handicap id get the 19's, but if youre confident the 25's are better.

I don't know how many of you are avid gamers like myself, but spore is a new game coming out Sept. 7th. If you are into simulation games or played sim city you will love it. It's created by will wright, the guy who created all the SimCity and Sim* games, the sims, and Myst. The website explains it better than i so here it is. I played with nippon shafts in a set of mizuno mx-19's. If i was to reshaft my irons ever. It'd be with those. VERY LIGHT. I could always feel the clubhead and it was great.

It pains me to see so many people switch away from odyssey just from scotty cameron hype. 2 of the people on my golf team have scottys and i've hit countless in the store, i don't get the hype. One thing i have noticed is that anybody going from odyssey to cameron is also going from mallet to blade. I haven't seen many people play any odyssey, or Bettinardi blades. I'd buy the bettinardi blade before i bought an SC. Well to each his own i guess. I love my kitty and the only thing i'll trade it for is an oddyssey/bettinardi blade.

I've noticed I can't really tell from a hit where my ball is gonna go on my hybrids 100% of the time. My irons have true temper shafts and i get amazing feedback from them. With my hybrids, i just kinda hit and if i get a bad shot i can kinda tell. A horrible shot you can tell 100% but say i hit a small fade that is just in the dangerous territory i can't really tell from the feedback. However, I WOULD not trade my shafts out on my hybrid. I play stiff shafts in my irons and hit them great, and regular on my hybrids. I take a nice soft swing with my hybrids and they are gone. The "whippyness" of graphite seems to help with that.

Am i the only one who LOVES the game on the computer. I love the control with the mouse. I'm sure its similiar for wii but idk if ill pick it up for the wii or not. Commercials make it look great and i'm gonna get the demo on xbox.

My dad recently gave me a 56 degree vokey. Which is great because I used a PW for ALL of my shots 100 yards in and it worked pretty good i got used to it. I did need it for the sand but thats all i used it for for a while, but now i tried using it for my chipping club. I was doing alright on the practice green and then i played in my first ever tournament. I shot the worst round of my life at that course. I flew over the green back and forth countless times. Now my question is: This wedge is super old. 5+ years. The face is NICKED like crazy. And i do notice alot of spin but its so hard to get the ball up with it. It feels like im hitting it with a bare club. I'm gonna upload some pictures tommorrow, but would nicks on the club face make the wedge "bad" or is it just my shot that needs a little more work? Also, if im GOOD at 100 yards in with nothing but a PW should i even try to change it?

My guess would be that new equipment would come out before the start of the season or in the winter. It's kind of like how video game manufacturers wait until autumn to release games because some people(especially gamers) tend to stay inside during the winter and the holiday season. Could be the same for golf. Manufact. could be waiting until the holiday season.

That could be a certain finish though as well.

I shoot all nickent clubs and i LOVE them. The hybrids are great and the irons just feel great. I do have the cavity backs but the arc wedges just sound great and i plan on picking up some when i need wedges. Never overlook nickent they seem to be an up and coming company with a lot of great products.

I also have a stiff in my 4dx draw and I HATE IT. However the regular in my 4DX hybrids is amazing. The stiff in the draw is starting to grow on me. The regulars in the hybrids might be coming to bite me in the ass as my swing speed is increasing.

I love the trajectory of my nickent hybrid and i also have a regular. If possible call up nickent and see if you can get a swap becuase the SR3 seems to be an amazing shaft. If not, the proforce UST V2 is an amazing hybrid shaft.
