  1. I went from a 10 handicap to a 7 in a matter of months because of my Titleist 735.cms that I bought. Give em' a try if you wish. I plan to get down to a 3 this summer... hopefully fingers crossed if I don't have any problems with my knees.
  2. that is entirely true. If your clubs are cast and not forged you are taking a huge risk in getting them bent. You generally are not able to bend cast clubs period. Good luck with bending those clubs 2 degrees period. Even two degrees is pretty significant on a forged club.
  3. I used to play those balls years ago. I liked them a lot. But they were a good ball back then for me, because I was a junior golfer. But like they said before... good ball for seniors... and junior golfers.
  4. I hit my irons too high. I haven't seen a person hit their irons higher than I consistantly. Its very frusturating because I will hit a 7 iron one time 155 yards and then I'll come to another hole and fly the green because I just hit it 170 yards. 15 yards is pretty drastic. If anyone could help me with lowering my ball flight that would wonderful. Its only a problem with wedges and irons, I already hit my woods at a good trajectory. Any suggestions would be greatly accepted. Thank you.
  5. good deal. thank you for that.
  6. yup thats right nobody can top me.
  7. I went with a stiff UST Proforce V2 85 Shaft in the 907D2 Yeah I have been tossing around the idea of getting the 906F2 with the UST Proforce... but its just a thought... and into June sometime I plan on buying the 585.H with the proforce in it as well.
  8. Titleist wedges are the way to go. Check PGA club counts.
  9. Your not the only one who is 18.
  10. Callaway HX hots when its cold out. But most of the time Titleist Pro V1's. Love that ball.
  11. My 907D2 is in on its way in the mail. I can't wait until I can actually hit it. Oh well I guess I'll just have to wait a little bit because of my PUD.
  12. Chippewa Golf Club Curtice Ohio. This course does not have an irrigation system. The clubhouse walls were literally rotting. The Sand traps had about 10% sand, 20% rocks, and 70% grass/weeds. It had bridges over a creek that were literally roped off because they were unsafe. You could not tell the difference between the Rough cut and the Fairway cut. You could literally take a divot on the green and nobody would notice. The greens are literally like a nice courses fairway. Its sad because its the oldest course around in my area. It opened up in 1929. It used to have a irrigation system. It used to have oak trees that lined the fairways. Now there is nothing. Its literally wide open. But I guess it was purchased this past year, and there has been a ton of work done to it. New bunkers, new club house, new maintenance department new everything. Rumor has it that the new owners have already shoved a few million into the place. Hopefully it works out for them, and they get the results in which they are dreaming for. But what a task it will be.
  13. Mr. Rogers88 are you striaghtedge? You seem to be. Its entertaining to me to say the least.
  14. I'm currently using the Titleist X66 Carry Bag.... its a huge carry bag... pretty heavy at 6.7 lbs but I can hold everything that I have ever wanted in there.
  15. I'v got a good one. I was at a summer golf tourney. The first hole was a short one that was wide open. It had a fairway bunker about 250 out off the Tee. I proceeded to hit my drive a little thin and roll it into the damn thing. At this point I was about 100 yard out and elected to hit my pitching wedge out of the bunker. I bladed my ball right into the lip of the bunker, where the ball then proceeded to come back and hit me square in the face. The ball then shot straight up into the air about 20 feet or so and luckily I had enough sense to dodge it on the way back down. I took my penality, my demoralization, and all the stars that I was seeing for the next few holes with pride. As for I now have a good embaressing golf story.
  16. I have been throwing around the idea of adding the Titleist 906F2 3-wood to my bag. I currently have the 904F. Its just a thought though. But you can do so much with the 906F2. It has a very clean look to it. You can work the wall what ever which way you want with ease. It doesn't look all big and clunky. Great off the Tee as well as turf alike. You shouldn't have any problems with getting the ball off the ground with this one.
  17. Alright I work at a golf course.... and I am only 18. I can't say I have ever smoked a thing in my life.... ever. First off I get extremely angry when people go out on the course and smoke up. Its so stupid. You can smell it on them. They don't even go out for the recreation of the sport.... they go out to toke up. Period. Its a safe place to do so. Because lets face it there is basically no authority out on the golf course and you can do as you please. People abuse this freedom by smoking dro. As for people drinking out on the golf course... thats fine with me I really don't care. I'll just take their money while they are impaired. Anyway its a legal substance... in moderation. People can do as they please as long as they don't put other peoples health in jepordary. Drinking and driving after the round is something I don't like a lot at all. Not only does it put your life in jepordary, but it puts others on the road as well. Its a extremely selfish act. Something that shouldn't be tolerated at all.
  18. To walk 18 holes without any pain... and to get my handicap below a 3.
  19. Wow I know what this is like. I just had my 2nd knee surgery last November (I just turned 18). I was to the point where I was having chronic pain and could barley walk the course. I didn't have much weight transfer at all because of my knee. I just actually got the ok recently from my doctor to start swinging the club again and start hitting golf balls. So I am planning to go to a heated driving range this weekend due to I live in Northern Ohio and it is 25 degrees and all the golf courses are closed. Depressing really but thats where my family decided to reside years ago... its out of my control. Well good luck with your knee, I kinda know how your feeling.
  20. I have a toss up... Either my 735.CM Irons, My Studio Style 2.5 Scotty, or the Pro V1's.
  21. I'm a Titleist kinda guy. They treat me right.
  22. Does anybody know anything about the new Titleist 907 D1 or D2 drivers? I realize that they are just prototypes right now. But does anyone have any info on them? Like for instance if and when they are going to be released? Well thank you for anything input at all on your part.
  23. Yes I have a set of 735.cms and I do play my 2-iron. Love it infact. But then again I am not a fan of the hybrids. I love the true 2-iron. Its a wonderful club people are just afraid of it I guess.
  24. Does anyone know what the specs are on the Callaway Fusion 3-wood or the Callaway X 3-wood. I would thank you very much if you could tell me what the CC's are on them. Its for my grandmother. Thank you very much.
  25. I agree with this... I used to have the Titleist 822os's which were cast clubs before I bought the 735.cms and with the switch I lost about 10 yards per iron. But the lofts are about 2 degrees difference so you decide. But I'm going to have to say the switch was worth it of course.
