No to shoes in the house. Slippers are a different story, but I've never been to a household in Canada where someone has said it's cool to leave your shoes on.

Did anyone watch The White Lotus on HBO? That was one interesting season finale aired tonight.
-
I was hoping to watch The Abyss on one of my many streaming services, but couldn't find it, so I had to settle for Leviathan instead. I'll generously give it a bogey. Also watched The Mist again. That ending is still a kick in the nads.

Props to the gentleman for giving the kid back the ball.

My browser was mighty slow the other week so I cleared out my history and cookies. And promptly lost all of my game data. 🙊 Wordle 307 3/6 ⬜🟨⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜⬜🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Antiwordle #75 3 guesses ⬛🟨⬛⬛🟨 ⬛🟥🟥🟨🟥 🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥 Daily Quordle 88 7️⃣6️⃣ 5️⃣3️⃣ quordle.com ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟨🟨⬜ ⬜🟨⬜🟨⬜ ⬜⬜🟨🟨⬜ ⬜🟨⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟨🟩⬜⬜ ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 ⬜⬜⬜🟩⬜ ⬜🟨⬜⬜🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬜⬜⬜🟨⬜ ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟨⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩⬜🟩 ⬜🟨⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟨⬜⬜⬜ ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛

Wordle 289 3/6 ⬜🟨⬜🟨⬜ ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 I read a few pages back in here that RAISE and YOUTH are two great words to start with. I use them religiously ever since.

Yeah, that’s a pretty poor way to rebuild your teams image, there, guy.

I had my first Covid test on Saturday. I’ve been run down with a decent cold for a few weeks, but it wasn’t until the fevers and chills started that I figured it was time to get tested. Results came back negative , and a trip to the doctor today yielded some free antibiotics and a nasal spray to hopefully clear this up.

Oddly enough, I was just saying to a friend I'm long overdue on a rewatch of that. I did burn through Carnivale over the x-mas season. I saw a trailer for a third season and just about stroked out until I realized it was a fanmade version. I've been enjoying Station Eleven as well. It's weird, but I like it. Yellowjackets has been a fun watch so far, although I much prefer the Lord Of The Flies stuff more than the present day storyline. I tried starting season two of the Witcher, but I struggled to get into it. I'll give it another shot soon.

Likewise, easily an eagle for me.

Watched the first three episodes of The Wheel Of Time on Amazon Prime. It's not Game Of Thrones by any means, but it doesn't have to be. The pilot is okay, but the characters seem to shine a little more in episodes two and three. As a sidebar, I had a lot getting through even a couple of the WOT books. I found Martins' novels a better read, and that's a scary sentence to type out. Currently watching the Cowboy Bebop remake on Netflix. John Cho doesn't scream Spike to me in any way shape or form, but the casting for Jet Black is fantastic.

Yeah, all of the interviews I’ve heard so far have seemed pretty shallow. The Edmonton sports media is a joke at best, but at least they made Duncan Keith squirm for ten minutes plus. Up next, coach Joel Quenelleville. Good luck backtracking your way out of this one, guy.

I have a hard time believing the players who have been copping the ‘I didn’t know’ card.

So I take it this weeks tourney started today and not Thursday? Looks like I've shot myself in the foot, again.
-
I started watching Heels the other day on Starz. I wasn't enthralled by the pilot, but by episode three I thought it was carrying its weight. It goes a little off the rails occasionally, but when the subject matter is pro wrestling, what do you expect?
-
That Crooked Neck lady, sheesh. There's some nightmare fuel right there.
-
Thanks, I panicked for a little while, then went back to the OP and got it from there.
-
Shit, I accidentally left the group. What’s the password again?

And now I'm on to Only Murders In The Building on Disney + with Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez. Very, very brief episodes, but really interesting in a whodunit sort of way. Four episodes in and I'm debating staying up late to watch a few more.

The Squid Game on Netflix. It's gory AF, but quite interesting.

Their dad ( who's also a flat earther), has them all believing that Covid is just another government scam. I wish they'd see reason, but they're too busy buying into whack jobs on Youtube that he sends them. When this all broke out they were all 'Dad was right about this one'. Yeah, because his theories on Y2K and rapture were spot on, If they get it, that's on them, but godamnit, I've got a nearly two year old grandson that I don't want to see catching this because of their ignorance.

I came home from work a few nights ago to find my stepchildren ( all adults, mind you) copying my wife's vaccine passport and inserting their personal information on them. Needless to say, I'm not impressed, neither with them nor my wife. Now I can't decide if she's really the one I want to spend the rest of my life with, to be honest.
-
Me too, I just wish the episodes were a little bit longer.
-
I watched a few random episodes of this when I was very young, and quite liked it. I may sign up for the 30 day trial to check it out. I tried watching Space 1999 a while back, but couldn't get into it. I've exhausted the four seasons of Vikings available on Netflix lately. I enjoy it, but not enough to subscribe to another service just to watch the final two.

The Suicide Squad. Missed a two foot birdie putt for a par. So much better than the dreck of the first one. Lots of fun, swearing, and gore. I made it a par instead of a birdie because a few most of the characters I liked didn't make it to the end.
