  1. If I could I'd give you 10 extra bonus points for keeping the faith.
  2. There's something seriously wrong with Graeme McDowell since the Ryder Cup...
  3. Nice comeback right here. Gritty performance.
  4. Yeah it's sounding like a triple...that'd drop him back to even par...yuck Edit: Double bogey, back to -1
  5. Ugh, Tiger dead pushes a 5 footer and misses what looked like an easy peasy birdie.
  6. Lol. Did Westwood and McDowell coordinate their clothes today?
  7. Soft greens and low wind, someone just about has to shoot a 63 today.
  8. Looks like he hit water on 17.
  9. Nevermind :( shot tracker now says that he hit water and took a penalty.
  10. Drunk Carl is looking like a genius right now (btw he's in the rough on 17, not the water :P
  11. I've saved countless strokes by leaving my 60 and 64 in the bag the past 3 months...unless they were absolutely needed...which is rare. Anytime I'm 80 to 20 yards and in I'm using SW now. It's just soooo much more reliable then my Lob wedges, and I love my LW's and hit them well. But there's just no denying that amateurs should be hitting them less. When I'm 20 yards and in I'm now almost always using an 8 iron bump and run whereas months ago I'd always deloft my 64. I'd try getting used to using your 64 less and less and only at times when you seriously need it, that only happens for me nowadays about maybe once a round.
  12. Tiger -2 through 6. Of course he's playing well when we don't have live cameras on him :(
  13. Happy someone made this thread. McDowell going for the three-peat! Both him and Victor have been playing horrible since the Ryder Cup. Hometown hero Victor looking good today, in the lead after 17 holes. Great grouping with Kaymer, Victor, & Donaldson
  14. hahahahahahahaha. Good luck to you Carl, you bold bold (and drunk) man.
  15. Tiger is on his way. GC Tiger Tracker ‏ @GCTigerTracker 5 minutes ago We're underway, and operation "don't bogey the opening hole" is off to a strong start. Stripes a 3 wood.
  16. I started him today in fantasy golf but I'm a little worried about his putting today. He putts mediocre on soft slow greens...always leaves it short. Kind of wish I would have started Bill Haas but whatevs.
  17. Tiger for me. Tiger: 69-74 JD: 75-73
  18. Playoff Bubba aint nuttin' to f*ck wit (unless your name is Martin Kaymer)
  19. I feel like Jordan Spieth at the US Open. I won the Spring Segment, but only because Bruce's Army choked. You see, Bruce neglected to switch from Branden Grace to Jason Kokrak after Grace missed the cut. That resulted into Bruce missing out on 8 points in the 3rd round.... ...I beat Bruce by 7 points. He would have been 1 point up. sorry Brucey :( (in my mind this is payback on DJ for withdrawing the tournament before the US Open.)
  20. Where the hell did Luke Donald come from? Didn't even know he was in the field. GET YO ST. ANDREWS PASS LUKE!!!!
  21. Bubba birdies the first 2 holes to take the lead! http://pgatour.cbssports.com/live/
  22. It looks like a win from Keegan Bradley could give GoGolfing an outside chance of winning the spring season too.
  23. Absolutely their should be transportation, I mean that's what I assume anyway. If you want to stay in a relaxed "no hustle and bustle" suburb, go for Eden Prairie or Chanhassen. There's relatively no night life, just two quiet suburbs. Chanhassen has a great dinner theater if you wanted to do something fun at night. Plus you'll be close to the course. I advise against Bloomington, never been a fan. However the Mall of America may have transportation going to the course that weekend, and the new hotel they just built there is gorgeous. I assume that is what a lot of people will be doing. Anybody that want's to share the Ryder Cup with some night life will have to stay in Minneapolis. Something like the Raddison Blu or Foshay Tower or anything downtown off of 7th St. would be the way to go. So yeah to break it down. Quiet easy weekend - Chanhassen (may have to check on transportation, course is close though) Party weekend - Any nice hotel off of 7th st. Minneapolis Fill up fast - I assume the Radisson Blu at the Mall of America will fill up fast, it's close to the airport and the Mall will give you plenty of things to do.
  24. Well sh*t, this is going to be extremely close with me and bruces army for the Spring segment. I'm just 13 points ahead and both my C players got cut. I basically have to hope Jason Kokrak has a really bad time, and hope Bubba can win this thing.
  25. This is me, I only have time for 9 holes about two times per week and I get in a range sessions here and there. I play about one 18 hole round a month. Just don't have the time to get away, but man, once I retire....i mean.....if I retire....
