I registered for tickets. The course (Hazeltine) is like 10 mins from my house and I'll have the opportunity to play there this fall.
Unfortunately for me, I'm sure the whole effing world (slight exaggeration) is trying to get tickets, so even being 10 minutes away, I'm sure my chances are small.
I agree with this. It's like Jason Day had a mental lapse there, just putt the ball or put a goddamn mark down. Stop asking DJ multiple times what he wants.
If that is truly what most of the greens looked like up close....that's horrible.
Probably the worst green I've ever seen, and I've been to a good amount crappy municipals.
I watched (on TV) Spieth knock his birdie putt in on 18 and then had to head into work. Luckily I have the PGA Tour on XM (which has really good LIVE commentary) and I listened to DJ's collapse. Although I wanted Jordan to win, I really feel for Dustin, heartbreak once again. I was hoping for at least a monday playoff. Just wasn't in the cards. I assume he'll be able to bounce back easily, hopefully.
I cant f**king believe this. I couldn't decide whether to leave Rory in our take him out. Against better judgement I put Stenson back in simply because he was closer to the leaders and could maybe snag a top 3. Worst....decision....ever.
I get severe vertigo about twice a year for no reason. (Doctors assume its from multiple concussions) anyway, Jason Days body mannerisms are EXACTLY like mine when I get it, and I have a hard time walking 20 feet. This is crazy. Id imagine playing CB with vertigo as hell on earth.
I don't know if your memory is serving you correct, but yes, it does seem that ChrisP is more often negative about the leaderboards every week.
How can anyone be upset with Spieth, Reed, and DJ on top? Especially as an American. This is the future of American golf on top of the US Open leaderboard...
Enjoy it people.
I'm sure it's bad for spectators at the event, but I disagree with it showing poorly on tv. I like the look of the course and unlike some people, I think Fox is getting some cool shots. Or maybe people are just upset with Fox because of the commentating? I have no opinion there, I'm usually at the pub...and if I'm home I don't pay much attention to the commentary.
Is this the most polarizing course of all time?
I'd really like to play it. It looks extremely difficult, but fun. The hole where the train goes beside the green is just an awesome view and tribute to that area.
I like him any other weekend but this one. He's killing me in fantasy points. Really should have thrown him in there.
Aside from being overweight, he's exactly what I like to see in a golfer. Fiery, extremely competitive, speaks his mind.
He was absolutely fantastic at the Ryder Cup.
I like it. They've taken some interesting angles, some fresh new looks.
Dustin Johnson now at -5. Didn't Taylormade say that if you buy one of their drivers and DJ wins, they'll give you your money back?
Well Dustin Johnson is just being a big fat jerk. I could tell he was in great form going into last week and he withdraws because of sickness after I start him in fantasy golf. Now he's just cruising through Chambers.
He's making me very angry.
Colt Hammer's bunker shot was gorgeous, almost identical to Rory's except Hammer's rolled to like 4 inches and Rory's to 4 feet.
