  1. So How u like em?
  2. What did happen to my extraneous thoughts, lol. Anyways thanks, I think I'll buy a case of b330s on ebay, everyone is saying this ball is so great but why would the pros play titleist when this ball is superbly better, theres food for thought. I would still like to know about balls besides the bridgeestones. THNXX
  3. I'm trying to decide on a soft ball. My pool of balls are the following: prov1, nike1platinum, bridgestone b330s, precept utritour, srixon zurs, callaway hx56, or any other "spin" ball. I want to know what fits best into my game. I use to play nike1platinum, I don't know why I'm complaining but the shortgame shots spin like crazy, sometimes too much so i went back to prov1. K, thnx
  4. sweet, good luck and give it a go, be agressive or something, i don't know, don't listent to my advice, lol, just make sure you have a good time. Im so missing out.
  5. hit a 360 yard downwind monster drive, with the sq, omg, i hit a 8 iron into the hole, eagle, chaching, money
  6. these are the highest furthest irons i have ever hit but to much $$$
  7. you should go for the mp 30's, they are so easy to hit, light, in other words their like almost the same things as the "lt2" but forged, better feeling, thinner topline, and mizuno. lol about the mizuno part. but you should try these, if you can hit the lt's fine, then the mp 30's will be even better.
  8. Nice, why didn't you try the six wood shaft from graffaloy, those are really nice. Also nvs shafts are amazing for hybrids, the ball dosen't balloon but goes high and the wind dosen't touch it. It's kind of like the NV, with more distance and air time.
  9. whats so bad about the "northwestern" blades, huh? They feel pretty sweet and have this really loud sound to it when you it right. Sound is amazing, why is this a con?
  10. I had the ball below my feet and my leftside was higher then my right. You guessed it, i thinned the ball and topped horribly, It stayed in the air for maybe 20 yards but roled another 90 to be 3 feet from pin. lol
  11. you have a nice classic swing, I only swee a couple of problems, I think you rush your backswing just a little, (out of tempo), get tour tempo, helps you so much. I think your unhinging or releasing a little early, I can tell because the ball launch seems high for your irons. I think your setup is superb and your headmovement and lateral movement is pretty good. I just think you should either strengthen you forarms and deltoids and core, or just get a coach, or try to opt for a draw shot, You would probably get more distance. Looks kind of like ernie els swing but with a amateur touch. lol. Thanks for letting me see your swing, I'm impressed.
  12. who said stenson, he sucked!, no offense
  13. I demoed the 695 once, I played it for 9 holes at my home course. I think the 690.cbs are better just because the ball fits my eye and I don't hook as much with them. The cool things i noticed with the 695 is that working the ball was so easy, I mean every cut and draw was solid. I was stuck behind a tree/bush thingie, I aimed 30 yards left of the target, setting for a cut, Boom, it felt great, and landed 10 ft from the hole, then 3 putted for a bogie, lol. There good but I like the 690 better and also I don't have the cash.
  14. Looks: they are both great and techy Performance: mizunos fly further and higher, titelist hit a more boring trajectory with more spin and workabillity Price: Mizunos are a little crazy, go back to 799. Tour usage: 695 series are a hit! MP 60's, not really. If you are a solid ball striker and you want to become a shot maker get the titelist, if you want to be a great ball striker get the mp 60's. Hope this helps
  15. I actually felt really bad because players kept missing par putts. That just killed me, tiger never had a fair chance cuz the greens were crazy and Hootie says that the par 5s are for birdieing, why don't you add some rough to the greens so the balls dosen't go inthe water every time, the pros are all dropping them in the water getting doubles and stuff. It's crazy! I think they worry to much about their rep as a major championship. I think its fine that their is high scoring, that's one of the things that made Augusta a great venue for the Masters, I don't know, the Masters is now like the US open, its not right. The leaderboard would have been so different if they just added some rough to the greens, balls were just spinning back into the water, also, they should try to make the greens a little flatter instead of steeper, I think they are misunderstanding why they even host a Major championship. Jeese.
  16. Your not all of 50% though, so maybe 1 exception
  17. The green is pretty big, but it's firm, unless you hit your ball with a high spin rate, you won't hold it most of the time, also the winds are going to be crazy, its not a freakn 130 yard shot with 10 mph wind its more like 30. You have to be able hit a knock down. It's like a gajillion times harder. One of my friends a 3 handi hit into the water 2 times when he played there. Ive seen him stick it like crazy on my home course, unless he was a bunch of bull, you guys are being kind of ..... arrogant. seriously, the green is hard!!! these are tour greens not the ones at your course. If they hit a full sand wedge in you home course they could spin it like 20 feet, on the tour may be 3 feet at most, does that say anything? Seriously, if you say(50%), then you are a pro. Go to q school.
  18. Today was a decent golf round, could have put better but driving was fantastic. AVG of the tee with driver, like 290 draw, cut, you name it, right in the middle, i hit like 12 out of 14 fairways, i made 2 chip ins made 2 3 putts from under 15 feet, and shot a 80, to me this was probably one of the best 80's i shot, plus these titelist irons are amazin, they're fosho. Also funny thing is their is this 90 yard par 3, I hit it hole high and spun it back into a bunker that is about 14 feet beneath the hole, hole number 14 http://shsbg.tripod.com/home.htm you can't see the bunkers but their below the hole in the front
  19. well what i do when i find a sh__nk on the range, I stand a little taller, make sure my weight is in the middle of my feet (between toes and heel) and step a half inch away from the ball, this is the best i can do but its been working, hope it helps. btw i use to hit these tiny northwestern blades which felt really nice but once in a while i would shank and i would think someone lit my hands on fire
  20. open up your right foot 10* so you get a full turn on your backswing and hold for 10 seconds, to start downswing properly. Note-downswing starts frrom the bottom up Try to swing looser and slower with driver, My tempo with my irons are 24/8 but my tempo for my driver 27/9
  21. the towel trick works also, there is one with rope but you need someone to help you, and what I did when I had this problem like 5 years ago, 1 i put the ball a little further from me, fixed my setum position and finally tried to shorten my swing for a faster tempo. Get tour tempo, the book, its really helpful, you'll love it.
  22. how are the balls compared to nike platinum, prov1, and b330s
  23. If they put the price of this ball at 30-35 USD range, this would be such a hit, I wonder if they are going to do that. The old nike platinum, 05 model, is now 30.99 and my golf galaxy. I get it for 20 though,
