I agree with a lot of things in here, too many to list actually but disagree with a couple. Children are lead by example. Parents need to get away from the saying, "do as I say, not as I do." A spanking never hurt anyone as long as it is within reason. Timeouts only work when used appropriately. This means sitting a child in an empty hallway with nothing to look at but the wall and taking away things that mean something to them. Sending them to a room full of toys, cellphones, video games, tv or computers does NOT work. One of the reason you see most parents not disciplining their child in public is because of an agency called "Child/Social Services". The real issue is people deciding to make someone else's parenting their business and the authorities get called. I for one will not discipline my child in public, but will however remove them from public immediately. My mom used to use the belt on me and I tell you what, my dad was the one that reasoned with me without using force. This is just my opinion and is in no way going to cure the world of the parenting issues

This would be a question that your co-worker would need to call the insurance company on. Policies differ so much any more. My policy actually covers my kids even when they are in the military (even though military has their own). I have seen some cover kids up to age 23 regardless of student status. Bottom line, they need to call on this one.

I got mine the other day as well. So is it safe to say that this grip will fit on a driver? It was marked 580 which I assume means .58? I just don't want to remove a perfectly good grip just to screw up putting this one on because it is too small. On a side note, I got my golf balls from Callaway around the same time as my grip even though I was never successful with a code lol.

I used Rosetta Stone for Spanish and thought it was great. At first I didn't think that it was working but once I heard people speaking Spanish, I actually understood what they were saying. I am glad I did it but probably wouldn't have paid for it if I had to. I got mine for free through my work place.

I play year round here. Only on days where the wind is not blowing 60 mph. Only down fall is there are no cups on the green but they do leave a small stick out for aiming purposes.

I would say it should go either way depending on what type of person you are. I was a super competitive youngster and always wanted to see my score in anything I tried. But I am also the type that will not get discouraged by the score either. If you get easily discouraged when it comes to your performance in any aspect of your life, then you probably shouldn't keep score.

You are some what right. A lot of the slow down with older computers is due to hard drive fragmentation (even if you defrag) and the fact that windows is notorious for duplicating files on it's own and not deleting temporary files completely. If you bought two laptops exactly identical, one with xp and one with Vista, the Xp machine will run faster. When I used Windows, I used to low level format once a year and my computers would last a long time with out much speed loss.

Working in the IT department with well over 1000 computers, I still say XP over vista. The performance is just outstanding with Xp and SP 3. Dell (who is our major supplier) is still selling us computers with xp. A lot of them say they only come with Vista but we request xp and get it . With all that said, at home I have a Mac and run Vista with boot camp and it is the fastest Vista that I have seen yet. Bottom line, on a pc, XP wins hands down. On my Mac, Vista wins. BTW if anyone who has XP and hasn't installed SP 3 yet, it increases the performance by roughly 10% if you install it . Disclaimer: if your computer explodes, implodes or starts to smoke from the direct result of installing SP 3, blame Microsoft, not me
