What would be the biggest Friday night "Live from the Masters' story? Tiger at the top or close to the top of the leaderboard, or Scottie missing the cut?

Anyone Have Eclipse Day Plans? Golf? Hideout in a Bunker?

Interesting. The 22 players who can win the Masters Since 2013, I have created a filtering process to help determine the players who are most likely to win the green jacket based on criteria that have...

That's why I got the watch, so I don't need to wear a belt. Sans-a-belt slacks for me. LOL

What's a "belt gatekeeper?" Sounds like a character on Game of Thrones.

That's a question better left to a doctor, you may have pulled something, dont chance it. Asking here opens you up to the wise cracks.

What are solar eclipses and how often do they occur? A solar eclipse is an alignment of the Sun, the Moon, and Earth. On average, 2.38 solar eclipses of one kind or another occur each year. -
I used to be the same way. But once you see the data that you miss the green to the left 18% of the time or short 39% of the time, L/R rought X% of the time, putting stats, it gives a target for your practice IMO. Yeah you can get up and down from a missed green or whatever, but if you have data that you can look at that says, "Hey man you are missing the green to the left" you know you have something solid to work with. Plus all the cool kids have one.

Impressive! To win one is pretty darn good, two in a row even better. 4, is insane. Akshay Bhatia's win $1.6 million. Nelly Korda's 2024 money including 4 wins $1.2 and some change.

I think in a situation where you know you've lost the playoff, the thing to do is start working the excuse angle. Something like, "my glutes weren't firing", or flu like symptoms came on. Plus I think it would be embarrassing to quit even if you had no chance. I think it would hurt your career or at least your reputation more than losing the playoff. Denny McCarthy put on a hell of a fight on the back nine.

LIV Miami Update. Pro's Free admission. Free parking/ shuttle. Heckling Patrick Reed. Watching DeChambeau hit driver. Con's It felt like a bbq at a city park on Memorial Day weekend. Music and people doing their thing, and oh yeah there some guys playing golf. Cant escape the club music. Not seeing Paulina Gretzky. AK looked like some guy hanging out at the gas station in Hialeah. There was a good crowd but just the vibe of the place was not anything special.

I'm not sure what to prepare for. Alien invasion, massive earthquakes, the Rapture, total grid shutdown. Fortunately we are not in the path of totality, so just business as usual. What are you guys doing?

If it was anyone else I'd say zero chance. With Tiger you never know. Augusta is very hilly so we will see. I figure by Sunday that ankle will be smoked. I'll be pulling for him. Hopefully he has a good showing, I don't think he's missed a cut there.

Did you get 15% off the 179? Mines already shipped.

I don't care who wins as long as it is not Clark. I kind of hope a LIV guy wins to stir the pot some more. Give Chamblee something to blow off on. IMO it's Scotties to loose. Can't wait for the announcers talking like they are in church or in the presence of the Pope. Bring back Gary McCord.

My 5 and 6 Iron Go About the Same Distance
snapfade replied to snapfade's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
So I met with my instructor yesterday and talked about the 5/6 iron deal and he had me take a few swings with each and he said, "Yeah, we aren't going to be working on that today". He said, "First thing you need to do is take the concrete blocks off your feet". LOL I knew I was lacking in my turn but after some viewing the video I was limiting my swing. I noticed it on the Mevo videos but I figured the ball goes straight a good part of the time Im ok. Got me on the weight transfer board and another thing that did the same thing but was a little harder to keep balance on at first. He said your losing a few mph of swing speed turning the way you turn. So he showed me some drills to reinforce and I'll go back in a few weeks and re-evaluate. Mostly all arm swing. I felt more in control swinging the way I did but it was not 100% reliable. Anyways, I have work to do. Once I get this ingrained I'm anxious to see how my numbers change. He said one step at a time, don't worry so much about where the ball goes, get that proper turn down, that weight transfer, your losing speed the way your doing it. Even if the ball goes straight its not going as far as it could, plus its not good for my back. Ill get some video and upload my swing at some point. The positive I was hitting center of the clubface. I shouldn't have waited 7 months or so to visit him. Shout out to the PGA instructors!! -

Shot Scope V5 Watch for $179.00 current account holder offer. Now I can get rid of the little box and don't have to worry about losing it like I did a while back. -
@klineka Got an email from ShotScope for a deal on the V5 for 179.00 limited time offer for current Shot Scope account holders. I would assume you got it as well but just incase I thought I'd get the word out.

Now that I think about it, he should be out there slinging it, not laying off. He should be doing what he was doing when he was in top form. Hit the local Perkins, hook up with a few waitresses, call Stevie back and so forth.
