  1. See that makes sense but then there are private schools where I live that go from K-12th grade. So they can have younger kids playing. Also, I remember hearing about this 8th grade running back who is starting somewhere and already has college coaches drooling (his dad was a famous RB i just can't remember the name)
  2. Driver $150 3W $100 Hybrid $40 Irons $125 (new and shipped) Wedges $200 Putter $100 715$
  3. Based on my bag, no not at all.
  4. Anyone else thinks that face looks a lot like an SC Newport 2? Not saying thats a bad thing at all.. Clean out that stuff and you may have spent the best 10$ of your life.
  5. I say get fitted at a place where you can try out shafts for your R7 and the 907D2. I hit a friend's 907D2 with a Proforce V2 shaft in it. Was flying over the 250 out fence every time. Thing FLEW off the face.
  6. I worked at a private club in The suburbs of Seattle (Woodinville/Redmond) area. If you are living more towards up there it's a pretty good deal. 2 big putting greens grass tees and mats chipping/sand green (goes about 30 yards away) Tee times every 10 minutes. Tuesday is women's day. Wednesday is men's day. Mondays they have tournaments so the course is usually closed off from members (not that bad to be honest). Good restaurant. I think it's around 450 a month for premium membership. Associate (weekday golfing) is like 350. Full range benefits for all. I know they were offering six months free dues plus free carts. Not sure now. Anyways, there are plenty of great options. It all really depends on where you end up moving and how much you're willing to spend.
  7. Out of all those, isn't the FT IQ the highest forgiving one (this is based just on the shape of the head.. If it's the str8-fit square head then they are the same). D2 is definitely the least forgiving. I believe it's also open at address.
  8. Tom Watson and Rocco Mediate are two players who both play mallet putters that I'd consider "better players"
  9. Look up the degree of your PW in your G5 set and buy a sand wedge based on that. Like if it's a 45 look for a 50 or 52. If it's a 47 look for a 52 or 54.
  10. Is he switching to TaylorMade then??
  11. The TP version or "Tour" versions of drivers are always open.. The regular driver is probably a degrees closed.
  12. Are you fairly accurate with your current driver? The more weight, the easier to hit it straighter. For me, I'd choose 65 cause I got a fast swing but I'm not accurate enough. Fairways are more of a problem for me than Swing speed.
  13. One thing I read is think that your competitor is going to make every putt, that way if he/she does you don't get rattled by it.
  14. was this 9 pars?
  15. How are they different? They have their name sidestamped on them?
  16. Does it say what type of shaft it is? It could either be for an iron set or for a single wood.
  17. Wilson Staff has some great priced iron sets. Mine were 125$ shipped to my door with new golf pride grips and they had never been hit.
  18. Pro of squared is that it is suppose to have higher MOI and be more forgiving on mishits. Con is how they look. Look at the Sumo2 if you want a cheaper squared FWY wood.

    Distance

As a 20 year old who is 6 feet tall, I can whack it pretty well. It's just unfortunate I bought my regular flex driver before I really knew what I was doing. That is why I'm looking at a new shaft for it or a new driver because it also has a dent in it. edit: To be honest I have thought about shortening my new shaft or getting fitted because I really need to hit some more fairways and keep my accuracy up.
  20. I would suggest maybe thinking about playing the top 100 public courses in America.
  21. What is your budget for this?
  22. First, great job making 10 putts on the aerated greens. Second, when you say 10 ft, do you mean you missed it by 2 ft 5 times or what?

    Finally!!!

Congrats on the eagle. My first and only was dunked in from 108 out on a par 4.
  24. Mp 57's Mx-200 Mx-25 Those kind of sound like what your looking for in Mizuno's... Also look at Nike's new VR irons, along with the TM Burner's.. People have said great things about both of those.
  25. My favorite so far "all golfers have hot wives"... Almost any professional athlete can get a hot wife because of their status.. "hitting a baseball is easy" Yes, in little league it was.. Glad we got your input. One of the main reasons I think kids play other sports when they are young is because they have this energy and it's this part of your life when you CAN play these sports. You can't be 55 and decide I want to go play football or baseball. You can for golf.
