  1. I was merely going off personal experience with my club. I keep the three cleveland wedges listed in my sig in the bag and the RTG sand wedge will spin back more than the other two every time when hitting the same ball from the same lie. I had the chrome version prior to the RTG and it did not produce the amount of spin as the current one.
  2. I agree with most of the answers to the original question. I hit the ball extremely high on most shots and i find it hard to get much spin on my 60 as well for the same reason 1UnderU stated. If I need to spin a ball back, I will grab my 56. The raw clubhead material is fairly rusted and can put some crazy spin on the ball!
  3. I will look you up on there.
  4. Same as it is on here. I just stick with one name for all the forums I join so I don't confuse myself! What is your screenname?
  5. LOL Softballfans.com is where I got the idea to use the magic eraser on my PSTs and then clearcoated them with brake caliper paint!
  6. I used a Magic Eraser last night on two of my softball bats that were plenty dirty and covered in ball marks and now they both look good as new other than the few scrathes in the paint from where they are thrown around at the park.
  7. Fiji mentioned some of the better ones around here. Honestly I do all I can to avoid Dead Horse. Just not worth the money you pay IMHO. I also enjoy Avalon in Lenior City and Ruggles Ferry on the east end of Knoxville. I grew up in Maryville too and I like playing Egwani Farms out that way.
  8. I really enjoy watching Tiger play and I am also not old enough to remember Jack in his prime. It is hard to pick which is the best. It is definitely between these two, but you gotta love both
  9. Knoxville member here. I bet there are more of us on here
  10. You just can't compete with Augusta
  11. I picked up one of the Bag Boy Revolver bags last year and now every club has its one spot.
  12. I just downloaded the software today and entered my first course and card. I think this will end up being a really good purchase to help identify what I need to work on.
  13. My goals for the remainder of the season is to get out and play more often and work on my 100 yard and in game. I need to expand the number of approach shots to use for different situations instead of just sticking to what I can do best now.
  14. I have always been able to hit the driver a long way, but only in the last couple of years have i been able to control it and move it when needed. I tried every driver they had at Edwin Watts before I decided on the Superquad with the V2 shaft. I average somewhere between 305-320 now since I hit more fairways and get more roll.
  15. All kinds of ideas on here. Someone should start a thread about little tips like this and see if a mod will sticky it.
  16. My strong parts are full swing shots. Inside of 100 is my weakness. Putting is pretty good when i take my time and concentrate on what I am doing.
  17. They also make some specifically for cleaning wheels. They do work well. Never thought of using on my clubs before. May have to try that.
  18. We do an annual trip to North Carolina to this same little mountain course where we play 7 rounds in 4 days. I had played fairly well and had the best average score coming into the final round. That is when I got in the zone! One guy playing with me estimated that I made over 150' worth of putts that day. I ended up shooting 69 even after hitting a drive out of bounds on a par 5! I stay in the 70's for the most part, but that day was special!
