I did, that's why asked. Some people say it fits 2 cans some people say 6. It's a very nice looking bag though. Thanks for taking the time to share the link.

Those look nice, how well does the "cooler" work?

I don't think YouTube would let me publish anything with that cart and accessories

Hey TST, Let me start off by saying one thing I'm a BIG guy close to 350 lbs. I thoroughly enjoy walking the course for multiple reasons. The first is cost, at roughly $15 per 9 hole round or about $850 a year for unlimited rental. That alone is a huge added expense. Second is the frame of mind I stay in during a round when walking. I find it easier to blow off the steam from a bad shot. Riding in a cart always seems to be darting through the course looking for a ball and swinging at it for me. Very quick but sometimes not thoroughly thought out. The third reason is simply I enjoy walking through the course and seeing many things that blow past on a cart, birds bugs animals etc.... One of many questions I have is what push or pull cart do you use and recommend? I mainly carry my bag when i walk and it seems like everything will start to add to much to enjoy the game. I'm starting a YouTube channel solely to document my journey of trying to get and maintain a scratch handicap. This means I carry a camera around now and that's a hassle carrying my bag also. My setup is not going to be anything fancy just a gopro and the gooseneck attachment, but I digress.... I've got a few friends that have click gear carts they seem nice but are pricey and they don't seem to have many issues. I've got an old Dunlop two wheel pull behind that works but it isn't the best thing around. So to sum it all up, walkers (not zombies). What do you use? Do any of you vlog like I'm planning on doing?

One of the tournaments they have around here offers a car for a hole in one on one of the par 3s. We got to the hole 180 yards was the number that day... I hit my shot immediately I knew it was way right(into a bunch of trees), I turned away in disgust at myself while everyone else watched then started cheering I turn around to watch it roll right over the hole and to the other side of the green.... Bummer, oh well had a Mulligan to use so me and my team all used ours and I got up again, stick the ball 3 foot from the hole..... I've never been more upset to be putting for birdie.

I seen a video that they said they would release it after the PGA show. So idk.

Have you gotten the new software to simulate greens in the driving range?
-
Your making the same mistake I've had a few friends make, strong and fast are two very different things. For example in not in good shape, 300#s 6'1". I've got a driver swing speed that creeps into the teens. I'm not weak by any standard. My friend I brought to golf is 280 and not fat like me, he's a brute I've seen him move a piano on his own. He cannot generate the speed I can. Why? I'm not exactly sure he's stronger faster and generally more explosive than I am. One thing I can say is I am far more flexible than he is even being fatter and not as fit. This allows me to turn more than he can.

This is exactly what I was going to say, do not buy optishot version 1 software, it's just not worth it. Unrealistic ball flights, chipping is a guessing game, has little to no value as a training aid imo. I've only seen the optishot 2 played but it seems it's still plagued by sand wedges that hook or draw 100 yards right or left, if you want a realistic experience p3 proswing is the first choice, then skytrak, then gc2. I bought my optishot thinking it would have some merit for training but I was sadly mistaken. If you just want a simulated experience without the complete "real" feel then optishot is OK.

This just keeps me wanting a skytrak right now. The ability to see real data is what I think I need to help my game over the winter. Oh and BTW nice shot pictures, doesn't look like your spraying everywhere.

Any new updates?

How did your score progress over time?
Eack replied to sirhacksalot's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
This happened to me, I was stuck in my league scores around a 44 at best early this year, I came so close to breaking it so many times but one day I shot a 39 to beat it, the pressure just fell off. I started consistently shooting low 40's in league. Then I stayed there for about a month, shot a 37, now I don't usually have an issue shooting +2-+4 a round. -

Strangely, I track how long I've been playing. As of me writing this I'm in my 520th day of golf, my app I use to track all of my scores has me at a 10.9 right now. Just finishing the end of the second summer I've been playing. The first summer was basically learning how to hit the ball. This summer has been about purely lowering scores, handicap reduction, and improving my stats (Fairways, GIR, PPH, Scrambling) I've played something like 175 rounds of golf this year. Practiced 2-3 times a week at the range, short game once in a blue moon(my single biggest mistake). Trying to get my course handicap down to scratch by my two years (a massive undertaking I know,) -
I'll follow you. This is exactly the route in trying to take, but I'm trying to get down to scratch from a 10 handicap by my two year mark. I'm even going to purchase the skytrak. Don't have a good pro around here though so that's where you have me beaten.

Hi all, I'm a newcomer to this sport, less than 2 years playing. I'm currently very dedicated to my goal of getting to scratch in as short of time as possible. The biggest problem I keep coming face to face with is winter. I'm going to lose a solid two months of playing in decent conditions even if the weather is calm for my Nebraskan winter. I've been frantically searching on how to keep my game progressing during those harsh cold months where I'm unable to go and hit balls outside or play on anything that resembles a decent golf course. To put it simply I need suggestions on how to stay sharp during these times. I would really like to either 1. Stay at my current handicap/skill level, without adding strokes come spring time. Or 2. Actually refine enough skills to lower said handicap when playing conditions will return hopefully mid march. I've been contemplating buying a launch monitor (skytrak). To help me in those cold months. But I will need to rebuild my shed so can actually have enough room to swing clubs in there all winter long. What dimensions would the shed need to be, I was planning something like 12x 24 x 10 foot high. Getting a projector and hitting screen. So to sum it up nicely winter practice, and launch monitor or hitting bay setups advice.

So who watched last night?
-
I completely agree, he was under pressure but never showed it. Said his short game wasnt the better part of his game and was spot on. He just seems to be idling by comfortably. I'd really like to see him when the stakes are high.
-
That is some of the best advice I've ever heard. And I had never actually thought that only shooting fives would get me a score of 90.
-
I know a few guys that would quit after that round, complain about it and find excuses and just blame everything else but the fact that they played preferred lies. And some people just don't get how to move through their phone apps with any real speed. I play and track everything, you'd never know because I'm very familiar with that system and I move thorough it quickly.

Seriously how does one come to the conclusion that this will be a great idea?
-
I was questioning his ability to, then he did the distance challenge and some shots were insanely close and he just kept going and going
S.I stands for stroke index, it's usually numbered 1 - 18, 1 being the hardest hole, 18 being the easiest, I'm guessing the si and the yardages have been misprinted on this card?
Those aren't the yardages, but I could see someone mixing them up, I might have to go and correct the stroke index. Thanks for clarifying that I thought it was something like slope rating.
