  1. That 3W, is that off deck or tee? nice distances btw.
  2. Did you like the feel of the shaft? From what I hear the diamana blues are nice shafts.
  3. I'm sure if you gave Tiger a broom stick with a solid wooden head he would still play like a champ.
  4. A stiffer shaft may make you loose distance, yet it will allow you to control the ball more. As you know steel shafts have a very different feel to them. Try out multiple shafts and see which you feel most comfortable with. It's possible you are swinging you irons much faster (in relation to you driver SS) I know I do. But to say balooning- im not sure, maybe. Try finishing lower with your swing, that should promote a lower flight, and see if that helps any.
  5. That's one thing that never made sense to me. Driver distance has little correlation to iron distances. I know a few people that hit roughly the same distnace off their driver, sometimes more, but wehn it goes to the irons I am 1 up on them. from 150 fost will take a 7 or and 8. I will either take a PW or a 9I. I guess I must have a better swing technique with my irons, I dont know.
  6. I read somewhere that the 6.5 are meant for people who hit either a weak 8 or a strong 9 for 150 yards. The 6.0 are meant for people who use a weak 7 or a strong 8 for 150 yards, and the 5.5 is for a strong 7 for 150 yards. Remember those are rough. If I wanted to I might be able to push a PW an extra 5 yards and get 150, however, I'm not even fitted for the 6.5.
  7. 1" longer is pretty long. I think your wrist to the floor would have to be around 38" for that.
  8. I would say try Mizuno, but from those sets I would choose the ping.
  9. Like other's ahve said, you want the forgiveness. Stick with it.
  10. I agree, dont hold out, spread the good news.
  11. http://www.tandbsportinggoods.com/caxcoset9.html Check that out, its a great price for a complete x-22 set.
  12. I have to admit that dont understnad what you are saying here, can you clarify this.
  13. Those very nice, very clean.
  14. If you cant tell any difference then it doesnt matter which you get. Hit them both until you can tell a difference or, if that doesnt happen, flip a coin.
  15. I would say go with a 4 wood and a 2 or 3 hybrid. and get rid of your 3 iron.
  16. They look spectacular. Great job on the design.
  17. I believe, though, that the lower ball flight would be attributed to the shaft becoming stiffer.
  18. Get both shafts, if needed. You will have 2 incredable shafts at your disposal. You migh even be able to sell one if you wanted to.
  19. I was wondering If anyone knew of sites that tell you a clubs specs, such as sole width, topline, forgiveness, shaft length, offset, head size, lie angle, all of that fun stuff.
  20. TM TP irons are great, they might not be my first choice, but they deffinitly are up there. As for shaft, once I tired a mid launch project X, I fell in love. Incredable, that's all there is to it. If you haven't lost all faith in mizzy, try there MP 52/57. The 52 are there most forgiving MP series iron, and are very workable, and the 57 are slightly less forgiving yet a little more workable.
  21. That is why a draw adds distance. I think you have nailed it, with that. Thats why, I believe, mechanics should be stressed. Understanding how the swing works should give a golfer insight into their own swing and allow them to try out different methods and determine which suits their needs best.
  22. When Im keeping the ball low, I will try and sweep moreso than usual, and close the face a little, however, to counteract the draw, I setup more left (I'm a lefty). Finishing low Is also key, I find that is the most important thing for me.
  23. Hearing you priase them as such makes me want to dirve 2 hours and test them right now. If only there were more left handed clubs in-store. Anyway, good purchase, and I hope they contiue to perfomr as well as they do, for rounds to come.
  24. My favourite wedge setup is the 46,52,58 combo. But to save you some money I would just bend the wedges you have right now. I believe its less than $7 a club for bending.
