  1. Anybody and everybody who owns a putter will be able to tell the difference between hard and soft golf balls.
  2. It's funny you say that in a thread about the most technology advanced irons. The 09 Burners are the start of something new. I'm sure you've all heard about each club being designed individually. This is why you will find that the soles, forgiveness, and head size differ between the long, mid, and short irons.
  3. It seems like alot of people have a problem with his fancy belt. Welcome to 2009. This is the younger generation expressing themselves at their finest. It was a college thing he had going on, and now with money, his belt is much fancier than it was back then. Too many haters out there.
  4. I had a 20 Adams Pro Gold Hybrid I maxed out 210. I have a three iron now instead, and I hit that 225-235. No problems getting the hybrid in the air, but that's all it seemed to do--just balloon on me.
  5. I think the R9 is exactly what the high handicapper needs. Nobody has more inconsistent swings or swing changes as the high handicapper, so therefore the adjustable face bias and lie is ideal--at least until you find out the right set up for you and then get a club with the same specs. Or just keep it. It's a great club and it sounds real nice.
  6. Sorry to burst your bubble, but that's a fairly easy course. But congrats anyways. That's 7 strokes better than my best ever.
  7. "So the new Red is now a lower spinning full iron shot. So if players are actually spinning the ball back too much you definitely want to give the Red a try. The Black has been held to the spin rate of a Pro V1, Pro V1X so players looking for a little extra spin on the irons, its TP Black. For players that have trouble controlling spin because it’s too much, it’s TP Red. Big differences between the two this year in feel and short game spin. When you get closer to the green, where the cover and mantle work together, that’s where they get similar. Red is going to be a little softer, have a nice little check on it and Black’s going to be similar to what Pro V1X is." http://www.golfwrx.com/BagChatter/20...ylormade-golf/
  8. Let me post an article, hold on.
  9. I had an Adams Idea Pro Gold 20* Hybrid...that I maxed out at 210 yards. That's how far I hit my 5 iron.
  10. I'm not a believer in the saying "the ball doesn't matter for a high-handicapper". I know from experience that high handicappers don't get alot of GIR's. I always find myself missing the green by ten, twenty feet. This is where the premium balls comes in. I guarantee you if I was playing a cheap ball, I would be pitching it back and forth on each side of the green. I need a ball that can check and hold when I'm within 50 from the hole. Not a ball that will run out and off the green. If it wasn't for the premium ball I play, I'd be scoring even higher.
  11. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Barkley ain't got nothin' on this dude. Oh my god. That is gold. Dude looks like the Weekend at Bernies guy.
  12. Bridgestone B330-s and Taylormade TP Red. My favorite is the Bridgestone though...just amazing around the greens.
  13. The show had potential, but the people behind the camera have made this show very amateur-esque.
  14. 1. Buy a 3 wood. 2. Play at least 3 rounds a month. 3. Break 90. 4. Break 85. 5. Break 80 once. 6. Get handicap to 10 or under.
  15. What? This ball is awesome...if your swing speed is between 103-115 mph.

    Golf Lessons?

I paid 200 for 6 thirty minute lessons.
  17. Iacas' bag. Has all the latest and greatest stuff.
  18. Oops, I should have used green font. I was pretending I was someone who owned a Mizuno club.
  19. Mizuno over any other brand, and honestly, it's not even close..
  20. I usually find the ball a foot behind where it landed...like an iron shot. Lately I'm getting about 1 yard of roll.
  21. I think the Mizuno cult might be worse than the Scotty Cameron cult now. Sheesh...
  22. I've heard a ton of people say the TP Kia Ma Daytona putter is better than the Studio Select -- a couple people even said it felt better than the Button Back.
  23. It's not just the resale value, but if I buy something I am going to take care of them while I'm using it. It lasts longer and looks better. I'm the same with shoes, my truck, etc.
  24. Apparently, money is not an issue for most people here. Good for you. But for me, if I'm spending $400 or more for some irons, you're damn right I am going to take care of them. Maybe it's just me being a college kid, but that's a lot of money to me to just abuse them and not look after them.
