  1. you guys pay a visit and the beers are on me!! tomorrow....supposed to be 85 and sunny. playing at naples grande with a few buddies. looking forward to it!
  2. def a tiger
  3. ill be honest with you...i dont really pay for golf. most of the courses down here in naples are private, so you must know someone to get in to the course, unless of course you are a member. I am friends with a ton of club pros, and they always come in to my bar, and im always slidin them a free beer or two. so to return the favor, they let me play at their courses for free just about whenever i want. its really an awesome system haha...all they ask is that we take care of the guys in the cart barn. so we normally throw them a 20 for cleaning our clubs and setting them up on the carts and stuff. but to answer your question, the price for golf in florida is different just about every 3-4 months, and yes, the prices are most expensive during these warm winter months.
  4. not to rub it in or anything...but im SOOOOO glad i dont have to stop playing golf. thats why i moved to florida. I wanted to be able to golf year round.
  5. for years, i have always been considered a big hitter. and as ive gotten older, and my golf swing has improved, i have gained MANY yards off the tee. I average 287.9 yards off the tee.
  6. a good amount of the courses i play require you take a cart. some of them offer caddies, so when i get to play a course like that i really enjoy it. i miss walking, so when i can, i definitely take advantage of it
  7. mostly all of the time i tee it up, i play for some sort of money. even if its just a couple bucks a hole, me and my friends are big gamblers so we always like to put something on the line. and as weird as this may sound to some people, having money on the round makes me play much much better. i enjoy golf, more than anything in the world, and i love just being able to get out on the course. But I find myself much more focused and in to the game if something is on the line. Sometimes when I go out and play with some friends who I know will give me no sort of competition, i tend to play down to their level of play and take myself out of my game. So when I have something to shoot for, Im totally in to the round that much more. I play in tuesday night skins games at a local course plus ill play in local tournaments that have prizes of anywhere from $200-$2000 depending on field size/entry fees.
  8. i honestly cant think of one reason why I would NOT want to become a tour pro..
  9. 82 and sunny. it was a beautiful day on the range in marco island florida. ohhh south florida in december, how i love thee
  10. One thing that has greatly improved my practice sessions....getting EXCITED. Making my practice sessions as fun as possible has improved them so much lately.
  11. My girlfriend and I have been together since February. And during the months that have passed since then, she has now become a HUGE golf fan. She watches the golf channel, even when im not at home. She has the biggest crush on Ian Poulter. But really, what girl who follows golf doesnt? Haahah.. She has fully supported my goal to make golf my career, and a way to support us in the future. She keeps on me about practicing, listens to me talk about my day of golf, loves going to the golf stores with me, and lets me watch the golf channel all day every day. Shes amazing, and these are just a few of the reasons why I am going to marry her.
  12. This will be my first full year of living in Florida, so my goals will be followed and taken care of. I am extremely excited for this upcoming golf season. I have made such good progress in the 6 months since I moved here/started playing golf on a consistent basis again. This also will be my first full year of tournaments since I was in high school. Words can not express how excited I am to get back on the tournament trail and start working my way up the ladder. With that being said, my goals for the 2009 season are as followed: 1. Get down to a scratch handicap. I now have access to multiple full practice facilities that give me the opportunity to practice for free as much as I want to. I plan on using it to my advantage just about every day of the week. 2. Join a mini tour and play a full tournament schedule 3. Come up with a practice schedule and stick with it. 4. Play in the big skin games in my area. There sure are alot of them!! 5. Shoot 65
  13. well. this is a question that can be talked about for years and years, and you will always get a new story saying why a certain person thinks tiger/jack is the better pick. Personally, Tiger is the choice for me.
  14. i have a couple http://www.oldecypress.com/golf.asp http://www.hammockbaygcc.com/ those are my two main courses
  15. currently i am a bartender. thats my official job but mostly i am playing in some local tours/tourneys/skins games to improve my game and work my way up the ladder
