Critique my driver swing (video)
jcrob902 replied to Pinseeker81's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
After I played the video I noticed by just dragging the circle on the play bar slowly and catching different frames that you a,most straighten your right leg in your back swing and that you start your shoulders moving down before your legs almost a reverse pivot but very subtle maybe try moving your right shoulder a little more over your right foot and start with moving your hips open before you dip your left shoulder in the down swing it will help you get a little more insiide out, Just wondering d oyou hit the ball high and ocasinoally slice? and hoe do you hit your irons? low spin or high spin draw or fade? -
I thought they we're talking about the putter he used in the master's and actually every time I've seen him play this year I've seen the white hot tour #9 just figured he switched and all tour pro's and alot of amatures have putters designed or alterd to there exact standards one thing I do know is that is the stock grip for the white hot tour that's on his putter he has been playing but then again tigers got a ping grip on his cameron so who really knows with those guy's.

I used chantix it's been 2 months now, probably one of the hardest things I've ever done but well worth it I didn't eat snickers but jolly ranchers we're my best freind especially after I ate just remember once you get to the point where your ready you can't try to quit you have to quit or you'll never make it best of luck to you.

Phils putter is a white hot tour #9 you can buy it, it's the same line as my white hot tour #1 furyk plays the white hot tour #7 just thought I'd put that in there check odyssey's web site.

I agree completly all he had to do was put it in the fairway wich he would have done with a 3 wood the way he was hitting the ball all week and then even if he misses the green get up and down I know it's easier said than done but look at the way he did it when he did hit the fairway on the 1st playoff hole even though he hit driver maybe a longer club would have caused him to swing a little more aggresive. well who knows but it was ashame to watch him lose in that fashion I was pulling for him it would have been a great story.

Take some swings and see if you can pick your left foot up off the ground at the finish it may take awhile to get your balance start with 3/4 swings, or once you make the weight transition try to feel like you have 60% ofyour weight on your right foot and 40% on the ball and big toe of your left foot dont immediatly spin out and go right up on the point of your left toe this should get you balanced out so your not falling back and make you feel more centered through the ball.

I balloon the ball but it's because I either get to steep with the driver and spin it like crazy or with the irons I get flippy in the wrist's, but you can bet that if the wind is blowing in your face with strong gust's and you have trouble hitting the ball low with your mid to short irons it's gonna balloon most of the time.

Wilson STAFF vs Wilson STAFF's reputation
jcrob902 replied to Paddymaster's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I like some of there new stuff especially the blades the smooth driver is pretty sweet looking to havn't hit it though Paddy must like it to as you can imagine he's probably had companies calling him day and night wanting him to play there stuff after his little run in the last couple of majors, we'll see what he does at contract time but I bet he stays. -
Do your Hogans balloon on you to? and do the ping's balloon on days that it's not so windy? if your answer is yes to both ?'s than it's probably not the shaft's.

People that think Tiger has mostly black triats have never seen a close up of his mother, check out the may issue of golf digest tiger looks so much more like her than Earl. I mean I know poeple from India ( living in Detroit ) that are darker than Tiger so skin color means nothing most Tai people are just a shade lighter than he is I spent almost a month in Japan with Tai men and women and there the same color my son is I'm white and my wife is black.

Alright enough already, how many are you are black? not me,how many grew up in a prominatley black neighborhood? I did, how many are married or dateing a black women? I am, hw many actually spend time with real black people? I do, and the thing they want the least is someone giving them something for free!!! now wit hthat being said there are plenty of hood rats and other lazy ass people that go under different titles and of different color that feel that someone should be doing something for them and that they deserve something for free that's why white people are on welfare as well ( although some do actually use it to it's purpose most don't) no person of respect or pride wants anyone to do something for them that they can do for themselves no matter what color it's always the lazy disrespectful greedy people that want what someone else has or want's the person that worked hard to get what they got to give them some for free. Just look around at work or school or wherever it's always the people that are trying to slide by and do as little as possible that are always complaining about things not being fair and those are always the people that are blameing some one else for there own problems. sorry for the long quote but this topic really chaps my ass.

Just google it clevleland launcher 460Ti specs and you should be able to get something on what the specs are, I did that on my old 990 irons so I could compare them with what I was going to buy and it poped right up

Unless you get into the exotic (if you will) irons like muira and a couple of other very high end non mass production irons, then mizuno and titleist irons are the best out there, every company makes good irons and it depends on the individual, I am a Mizuno faithfull now and won't switch as far as irons go but I would asy that switching irons can be very difficult,I would agree with getting more lessons if available before getting new clubs so that you can get equipment that's geared more towards a better swing, it will be much more worth it.

I know that the G5 and G10 are different drivers but I had a similar problem with a G10 10.5* with a pro launch red stiff shaft, no matter what I did I could not get my ball flight down, I would leave pitch marks in the fairway,I tried the 9* with same shaft and the 9* and 10.5* in both the pfc and the ust pro force and had pretty much the same problem just a little less severe, Any way I just switched drivers back to my SQ 460 and had it reshafted, in my only experience with ping it seemed to me that if you'r a high spin player you may need to drop all the way down to the 7.5* or spend $300 to get a really good shaft or just go some where else for your driver.

Ha,your the funny guy aren't you now, actually what happened was she woeked a bunch of overtime and when we got paid she just gave $100 dollars out of her check, to go with the money I already had,my son stayed with my step mom and me my dad and brother went to the show while my wife worked.

Sounds like a nice set as TM doesn't make garbage, just dont like them that much anymore, the 07 burner series is very good especially liked the TP driver, the new clubs though leave alot to be desired.

Makeshift Mizuno Mix & Match
jcrob902 replied to youngskip40's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I'm not saying he should'nt, I'm just saying he does'nt have to and I would'nt , I hit the 4-5 iron in MX25 better than any other long iron and to go from a cavity back to a blade throughout your set isn't going to hurt anything as( unless you play blades) you pretty much do the same thing between 3 or 4 iron and most lofted wedge any way, like all new set's it would take getting used to, at the same time though if you don't like full cavity backs then don't use them just putting the idea out there. -
Makeshift Mizuno Mix & Match
jcrob902 replied to youngskip40's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
You don't have to keep it in the same family, per say, because you can gt the loft's bent to match up throughout the whole set, so you can go with MX'S to MP'S and still get consistanly pleasing ball flight through out the set. -
Ha, I wish because I would hook her up with one of my friend's so we could go golf club shopping like a couple of silly ass giggly girls after some shoes.

Hybrid/wood question ( a little long but please help)
jcrob902 replied to dagolfer's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
See if you can't find a one hybrid of say 15* to go with a 3 hybrid of like 19* to kind of keep the yardage gap consistant, considering that you would hit tham consitant distances according to loft. you know what go get some #'s on a launch monitor on an outside range where you can watch you'r ball flight and get the #'s to tell you just how far your gap's are apart. That's my opinion. -
When the Nike SQ 460 driver's came out,I woke up on valentine's day that year to find a brand new Nike SQ driver gift wraped in black and yellow ribbon sitting in front of the TV, last year she not only agreed, but pretty much told me I could buy new irons,I had been talking about it for a couple of years, but she rememberd and suggested it, then she gave me $100 yesterday because I was going to a golf show, how sweet is that? now just so nobody get's any crazy ideas I do work anad make more than enough money as a production manager at a Japanese automotive facility, so I'm not a moocher.

I have a friend who is a cleveland faithful that loved that driver, I even liked it even though I would'nt admit it to him. But I think if you swing the club at least 98 mph you can find a Cobra pro model that will suite your game and if I'm not mistaken as a 6 your looking for mid launch low to mid spin and alot of carry and roll, which is exactly what I got with the S91 pro S hope you have the same experience. Finding the right driver is better than finding the right wife. -

Dude, I wish I would have done something similar, ut I would have went MX25 long irons as you just can't believe how easy they are to hit than mp57, mp32,and than to mp wedges.Love the idea go with it. -
I owned a 975J and the 909D3 is about as close as your going to get these day's, actually the 909D3 isnt really that far off, maybe the 905T was a little bit closer but you should try the 909D3, if you hav'nt you will like it I'll bet you that.

Trust me the Cobra has that wow factor, I have never been interested in cobra clubs until this year, with the look's, the sound I could get over with performance, try the Titleist 909 drivers and the MP 600, I also liked (but not better than the cobra) the tour edge exotics now that's a nice club that remond's me of a titleist, even the price tag is similar
