  1. If I remember correctly, it is supposed to reduce the spin
  2. House of Forged Patriot Stiff playing at 45"
  3. I think the Black launches the ball higher and adds spin and that is probably why you are losing distance.
  4. For me, it was that I wasn't making a complete shoulder turn.
  5. I always thought that low bounce would help you on firm and tight lies and higher bounce would help for soft and fluffier lies.
  6. Does anyone agree or disagree with how he said to hold the club in the last episode? About holding it more across the palm vs in the fingers. I have always heard in the fingers but I could've heard wrong.
  7. That does look sweet. I wonder how that finish will hold up.
  8. This is the store I go to and I haven't really had any problems there. The workers seem to know what they are talking about and are more than willing to help you with any questions.
  9. I would say the TaylorMade Raylor. That club was basically designed to get balls out of the rough. I have also found it to be good off of the fairway too. I just bought mine this winter and there is still snow on the ground so I can't clerify with any experience whether or not it lives up to the hype.
  10. I fixed the weird elbow thing and thank you for the swing compliments. I have struggled with keeping my lag since breaking my wrist.
  11. I guess I do kind of have the same problem. I know I tend to release the lag early. I think you have seen my swing before...it was titled My swing... i have fixed one part that was messed up when I took that video.
  12. That is what I am trying to achieve but I don't exactly know how to create "effortless" power. Like I said earlier, people say it looks like I'm swinging balls to the wall but I'm not. Does it matter if it looks like I'm swinging that hard when I'm not or should I try and get my swing to look more effortless. One drill I read about that I thought might help with this was Zach Johnson saying to take full swings with a driver but only hit the ball 200 yds total. He said that the only difference between that and when he is playing is that he just speeds up his swing on the downswing. Would that possible help?
  13. I have always been told that it looks like I am swinging as hard as I can. When in reality I'm not swinging as hard as I can. I don't know if this comes from playing baseball since I could walk or what. I don't lack flexibility or strength either as I work out 6 days a week. I believe I could have a more efficient swing if I could learn to swing fast instead of hard or swing the club instead of hitting ball.
  14. Is there anyway to swing fast instead of swinging hard? This is kind of a hard question to answer or even ask. Are there drills to help smooth out the tempo and swing faster instead of trying to swing harder. I have heard that quieting the lower body and synching up the body can help with this but I don't know if this is legitament or not.
  15. I personally didn't think the sweet spot was that small. I thought these were relatively forgiving also.
