  1. Wasn't there just recently on article on Golf.com that had some quotes from a few pros that said Phil's DVD's actually helped them?
  2. I thought X-22 Tour were considered players irons and not game improvement? I just got a set of X-22 and really dig'em.
  3. The Ix is a great ball, excellent around the green, good distance off of the tee and the ball is very durable. The dimples in no way affect putting... I recently tried a Pro 1x and I am getting an additional 10 yards off of the tee compared to the Ix
  4. A pro had suggested to me once to practice half shots to work on lag.
  5. My hybrids are Callaway FT's, those Adams hybrids are way to weird looking for me. At address the Callaway's feel awesome but that is just personal preference. Oh and I can smoke the shit out of the ball with them. Sorry for not answering your question! :)
  6. I hit a Pro v1x this weekend for the first time and the ball is definitely longer than a Pro v1 and the Callaway tour ix I usually play.
  7. David Duval is in shape?? Dude had a pretty big gut on him when I saw him this past weekend.
  8. I was doing the same thing then realized I was reaching for the ball at setup. So I basically moved a tad closer to the ball and I was good to go. Your issue might not be that simple.
  9. I played at Pine Hill this past Fall and the Ranger was all over people....he made a group or two skip holes. It all depends on the course I think.
  10. These are the reasons I am joining a private club
  11. 95....I seriously think I coughed up close to 10 strokes because of mis-hits around the green....chipping has been killing me lately
  12. I know I am a high handicapper but I love the Callaway Tour iX. My yardage off the tee is good and I can feel the club face bite the ball on contact. Anyone who says they cant feel the difference in a premium ball is high. Get them off of Lostgolfballs.com so you don't have to pay $45 a box.
  13. I tore my rotator cuff and labrum and had the surgery this past Sept. I would suggest going to therapy. Its boring and monontonous but it works.
  14. acceleration, acceleration, acceleration, acceleration, acceleration, acceleration, acceleration, acceleration, acceleration, acceleration, acceleration, acceleration.
  15. I am looking to sell my Stack and Tilt DVD's if anyone is interested. Just purchased them in December but the swing isn't for me. PM me for details. Sorry for hijacking your thread.
  16. Good point, I kind of shot from the hip. Diet is key though, most people generally wont bulk up if they are cutting calories. Again, every person is different......
  17. You don't bulk up from a workout you bulk up from your diet.
  18. I stand by what I said. If you take identical club heads and make the identical, in tempo swing, a stiff shaft will create a lower trajectory. I have experienced it first hand.
  19. Shafts that are to stiff will result in lower ball flight and shorter distance as well pushing the ball. The proper shaft is the single most important aspect of someones clubs.
  20. A Pro in my area that does a lot of club repairs swears that Callaway leads the pack in terms of quality.
  21. What I started doing that seems to have helped.....I first stand behind the ball and check my line, then walk off the distance of the putt counting my steps and then check my line standing behind the cup. I can feel the slope in the green with my feet and get a much more accurate gauge on the distance.
  22. I tore my rotator cuff and labrum pretty bad and had the surgery Sept 11th of this year. I was back hitting balls 100% in December.
