  1. I was wondering if anyone would call me on that! God, sometimes I crack myself up with the stuff I can make up on the fly like that.
  2. nuck81 - It's a good idea to start tracking your handicap. The handicap system was developed to help level the playing field of all golfers. To anyone on this forum you simply look like a sandbagger that nobody would want to play with if they said they were a 40 or 99.9 handicap. There are many free sites available online for you to start tracking your handicap which you can find here... http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...dicap+trackers Sorry I gave you shit earlier about it but I just lost a match to a sandbagger that was playing to my number but should really be a four or five. Total BS but it is what it is.
  3. Took my club back to Roger Dunn ( http://www.worldwidegolfshops.com/ht...ollywood.shtml ) and they are sending it back to Adams for a replacement. No charge!
  4. Caddy's trying to hit 17 is my favorite. http://www.twitvid.com/KIQXJ
  5. Good stuff so far guys but can someone explain to me what "keep your arms connected to your chest" means? I'm not getting it visually.
  6. Much like how the republicans threw the last presidential election knowing that the US was going to have more problems than anyone would care to mention (2 wars, crappy economy, unemployment at 15%, etc.) it would make sense that Tiger could concede the number one ranking to get at least some of the pressure off of his shoulders. Plus when he comes back and takes over the number one spot it would be that much better of a story to tell.
  7. Can someone please give me some tips on how to stop hitting this damn push fade I've had for the last month now? Seriously, it's either a push fade or I shank it straight right and it's driving me nuts! I'm desperate for any tips so help a guy out!
  8. If you have a sharpie in your bag you can draw a line on the grip an inch down to ensure it doesn't change all that much.
  9. You hit balls every day and have a handicap of 40? I just don't believe it... are you lying or a troll?
  10. What shafts are you currently playing in your other clubs? Is this just a driver issue or does it run through the entire bag?
  11. It's 21 inches long.. or 53.34 centimeters. If you can't get it online I could always buy it and send it out to you for the cost of the club and shipping. Just let me know.
  12. I got it from Roger Dunn Golf here in California. I've attached a link that allows you to purchase online. The one my son has is a PW size 0 for under 5 year olds. http://www.worldwidegolfshops.com/Me...roduct_Count=2
  13. Here's some video of my son hitting wiffle balls at 21 months back in November. He has since gotten better in that he hits actual golf balls.
  14. During my round today I took a couple of practice swings with my Adams Pro Black and the shaft snapped in half. It wasn't like I was being too aggressive or anything, it simply snapped as I was taking my backswing. Anyone ever had this happen before and if so what should I do about it? Will Adams replace it as it wasn't my fault or should I contact Aldila?
  15. I'll be playing at DeBell Golf Club in Burbank on Saturday and Sunday. http://www.debellgolf.com/
  16. I'm just posting a general question here to those of you that are in a golf club that runs a year long tournament similar to what the FedEx Cup is. I'm looking for information on how your club currently calculates tournament results and what that translates to in terms of determining an overall year long winner. Even if your club doesn't do something like this do you think it would interest you to have something similar to the FedEx Cup in your club as a way to define your clubs best / most consistent golfers?
  17. My pre-round routine consists of: 1. Parking my car 2. Getting clubs out 3. Putting golf shoes on 4. Paying the guy in the pro shop 5. Teeing off
  18. As a vampire golfer I enjoy goat blood on the course. As a side note do any of you know if Titleist is going to make a Pro V Glow Ball any time soon... I can only play in the dark. This thread got really weird somehow. Really though, I drink Powerade and water with an occasional Diet Coke at the turn.
  19. Try the MG Tour C4. Most like a Pro V than any other ball but half the price. http://www.mastergrip.com/misc.asp?r...hopping=&f;=#C4
  20. I just keep score in my head as well. My buddies and I will ask throughout the round, "where are you?" and the answer is always an integer of how many strokes over / under par we are through that given hole.
  21. If you have an Iphone or Blackberry there are free application downloads available all over the place. Try visiting www.golfgps.com .
  22. Depending on whether or not you put functionality before price the ProV series is probably your ball of choice but if you want the functionality of a ProV for the cost of a cheap distance ball you might want to try the MG Tour C4. http://www.mggolf.com/misc.asp?ru=0&...hopping=&f;=#C4 Give them a shot and I think you'll be happy.
  23. I don't think it's necessarily easier to hit irons or hybrids than wedges but you probably grooved a good swing tempo which translated to your iron shots you mentioned.
  24. I know it's still early to think about it but with the warmer weather coming do any of you expect to make changes in your bag setup? I'll probably pull a wedge out of my setup (see signature) and throw in my 18* hybrid to get some additional roll on dryer fairways. What sort of changes will you be making and why?
