  1. he can say what he wants about tiger, i mean after all he carried tiger through most of his wins, tiger was nothing without him, he taught tiger everything he knows, tiger wouldnt have even been a professional golfer without him, i mean its not as if he's been the luckiest caddie of all time being on the bag of the best player of all time.......oh yeah wait, tiger was only good because of him, i forgot! What A Dick!
  2. p.s. 6 under at valderrama would win whatever the field was imo
  3. all im saying is that imo there were a hell of a lot of players playing there last week that were very, and i mean very good but as they play solely on the euro tour and dont go over to play in the US they arent as well known and arent as thought of as being as good as a lot of the players that compete on the PGA Tour. Now im not saying that you do this personally but i think that there are a lot of people over there who would think that just because they arent very well known in america then they arent very good. an example id say of this is that say rickie fowler was playing, imo a lot of people would see him as adding to the field and making it stronger despite him only having 1 (kind of) win, compare him to someone like Thomas Bjorn who has won three times this year yet i believe that some over there wouldnt really see him as adding to the field. i guess what im trying to say is that mainly because most of the players last week dont compete on the PGA tour then maybe they arent as well known to a lot of people (again not saying you) and as is fair if people arent that aware of certain players they arent gonna see them as adding to the field thus seeing it as weak when in fact it was a very strong field including people like Sergio, G-Mac, Justin Rose, Kaymer, Jimenez, Bjorn, Molinari, Manassero, Larrazabal, Quiros, Fisher.
  4. it really wasnt a weak field, it was just a european tour field! also regardless of the field, he finished 6 under at valderrama which is some feat in itself and back-to-back wins are impressive wherever you play!
  5. is there any way of following this, like a live leaderboard or anything?
  6. id take par's hahaa
  7. definitely! Valderrama is amazing though!
  8. im gutted that this isnt on tv anywhere over here!

    AK!

I know it doesnt mean he's back to his best but AK made 7 birdies in a 66 to gain a 3 shot lead in kj's tournament today, i hope he does get back to his best!
  12. youre right, the worlds coming to an end, definitely not overreacting (even though i know how you feel ;) )
  13. single digits within 5 years will be a walk in the park if youre shooting 70's already as long as you practice, the more you practice the easier this game gets
  14. Nothing too spectacular but went to scotland last weekend and the wind was howling (if you watched the walker cup we were about an hour from there so it was slightly windy haha) we had a 135 yard par 3 downhill straight into the teeth of the wind, i hit 8 iron on the saturday when there was barely any wind and that was too much club, so standing on the tee i had no idea what to hit, there were bunkers protecting the hole location so decided to play 5 iron (from 135 downhill!) i didnt quit on it and tried to drive it into the wind, i nailed it and put it inside 10 feet, i was so pleased with the shot i mean the wind was horrendous, i missed the putt but i was still happy that i pulled off a shot exactly how i was trying to
  15. And thats why i love this game! Getting through the bad spell and finding out you are actually getting better, i play in a society and we travel somewhere every year for a weekend, this last weekend we went to scotland and i absolutely walked it and cleaned up, i played the best i think ive ever played, hit 13 greens on sunday and did not three putt at all and finally have my confidence back in how to strike the ball rather than being all armsy and helping it around, i love this game at times!
  16. i hate when this happens and its happened a few times to me, sometimes i just forget how to hit the ball. im in the middle of this right now and its so frustrating! i feel as though im just helping the ball around the course and not hitting it. my scores arent particularly showing it as i have a decent short game and scramble very well but its just no way near as fun to play! frustrating!
  17. this thread just turned funny as shorty was right!
  18. ive had one on the final hole of a pitch and putt to beat my uncle (about 60 yards or so) but not had a proper one as of yet
  19. no doubt, my dad knows him personally very well, i know him of sorts but my dad and him are proper mates, we met on holiday a while back
  20. I think Feherty is like the PGA tour version of Wayne Riley over here. Radar came up with a great one the other day, a golfer (cant remember who it was) played a pitch onto the green but played it poorly. He said 'and alas, that is now the call of the dead sheep, still you'
  21. most exciting finish for a while!
  22. who's the marquee group for later on?
  23. my boy AK, back in form and back in contention hopefully!
