82 (43/39)
Front 9 was playing like normal but back nine every thing started to click i was 2 under after 5 holes while normally i struggle to get one birdie.
I ended up getting 3 over on the back.
82 is my personal best as well i have got it about 5 times now.
My first club comp i was very nervous standing on the first tee playing in a group with a guy that has the local course record of 62 and ended up getting a 7 on the easiest par 4 on the course. But it was a good experience and it can only help my golf game.
Broke 100 in 3 weeks
Broke 90 not that long after that.
Havent broke 80 yet after about 1 and a half years playing.
I will hopefully be able to break the big 80 by the end of this year. (I have been so close
)
I average around 32 to 34 putts. I think i might practice my short putts alot more next time i hit the practice green. Ill even give the mickelson 3ft thing ago.
420 yard par 4
i hit a solid drive but it went right. I ended up behind a big tree a long way out. I used 3H and faded/sliced it round the tree in front and into the green i had a 15 ft birdie putt which lipped out.
85 (42/43)
I was even for the first 5 holes then it fell apart abit.
Was pleased with my score but i know i can get lower because i had two 3 putts. And only hit 2 fairways all day.
84 (42/42)
Started off great with a birdie and 3 pars but then got a couple of double bogeys. I was driving the ball much better then i have been the last few weeks
I would say he will pass nicklaus next year in wins. And Snead in about 2 years. Majors are the hardest to predict but i would say he will pass nicklaus in atleast the next 5 years
I have practiced my short game the most out of all my game but when i am hitting driver and company good the short game is normally way better then when i really need it to be good.
I shot a 88 (46/42)
Played much better on the back nine after i sorted out my drive.
Hit the last 3 fairways with big drives for me.
Cant wait to get back out on the course for another round.
the biggest drive i seen was when i was playing in my first tournament by a guy that holds my local course record of 62. He just hit the ball so hard every time but on the par 5 he must have got it right out of the middle, he had a 7 iron into the green.
I wasn't really into golf at an early age. I did not really like watching golf on tv because it was boring but when i started playing golf, I started to really enjoy watching golf because i found out just how good these players were and they weren't just hitting a white ball round as hard as they can.
Congrats 14 is good for your time playing. I was kind of the same i dropped down to around 14 in my first 6 months but have been playing for a year now and have hardly dropped it any more. And i only really play my local course the same as you.
420 yard par 4
Sliced my drive a bit into the rough just beside a bunker. There was a few trees in front of me and i still had a long way from the hole.
I pulled out the 3h and smoked it right over the trees one bounce on to the green and came to a stop about 15 feet from the hole.
I missed the birdie and tapped in for par.
