And I gotta tell ya. This thing is bad azz.... I have never hit more fairways in my life. It felt like I was able to hit it with a consistency that I have never been able to achieve before. Only played nine with it today. Guess we will see the next round whether it was a fluke or not. So far so good

I am confused about the concept of the adjustable drivers. Not the ones with movable weights but the ones that you adjust the shaft. This may sound like a dumb question but, can't you just adjust the way you hold the club and achieve the exact same effect?

Went blackberry and never looked back

It's not so much as being un satisfied, I love the putter, guess I am just wondering if this is something I should really be concerned about or if I should just let it go and enjoy the putter

I recently bought a itsy bitsy spider off rock bottom and after only using it twice a piece of the yellow paint chipped off the club face. Has anyone else had this problem and is it really worth it to pursue getting it replaced? I contacted Taylor made and they said to take it to a dealer and have them try and resolve it. I don't want to try and get a replacement if the new one is just going to have the same problem. Also the paint on the emblem on the club face is showing evidence that it too will chip off. ideas/advice?

Well my wife could not keep her fathers day gift secret. This will be my first Fathers day and she made sure to make it special. For the past week I was under the impression that we had reservations at a restaurant and were going to have a little time alone. Today she informed me that she got us a Tee time Fig Garden Golf Club in Fresno. This poor girl had to wake up at 0515 in the morning to call and reserve it a week in advance. I checked out their web site http://www.figgardengolf.com/ and I must admit though I am totally excited I am a bit nervous. It's not like the local podunk courses around here. Lil more challenging. Anyways, can't wait, gonna spend the week at the range, Awesome gift.

bought the game yesterday, found out that in order to duplicate what I have in my bag (except putter) I have to reach expert status and win some hard tournaments. Looks like i got some work to do

Couple of things I enjoy about golf. Please add your own. 1. Cleaning my clubs: There are few things in life that I truly enjoy cleaning, one are my guns and the other are my clubs. 2. Losing a good ball: Only to find an even better ball in my search.

Etiquette is easy, Respect the course, respect the other golfers (Unless they are asses, then just keep your cool) and most importantly, even if you are shanking the ball hitting bad shots or the ball feels like its not going where you want, just have fun and keep your sense of humor. That's about it for the etiquette. Play with a friend or pair with another golfer who knows the course, for the most part most guys will help you out no problem. As far as club choice for different shots, there is plenty of threads on this site to assist you in that, as well as on other parts of the net Google will find all your answers. But for the most part just figure it out on your own, that is usually more gratifying than being walked through your game. Get out there this morning. I guarantee no matter how bad (or good) you do, you will have a great time and learn alot about yourself and your abilities.

Nice set you got there. Have tome friends who have some Burner woods and they love them. Let us know how they feel.

You could have been hitting the course last month and been pretty safe. Don't let flaws in your game keep you off the course bro. A lot of your flaws can actually be worked out by playing a few rounds. Best part about golf is no matter how long you have been playing, you are always learning the game. SO GET OUT THERE and have some fun!

I have been slicing the ball like nobody's business for a looong time. I have tried tips from other people and tips from magazines with zero luck. Tonight I tried altering my swing and I think I figured it out. I have been swinging the club too far behind me (kinda like a baseball swing). Tonight I brought my club back higher and bam! The line in the grass is straighter. (Swinging in my front yard) With the other swing I noticed that the line in the grass is more diagonal. The bad part is it is going to be almost two weeks before I can get to the range to try it out. So for the next two weeks all I can do is wonder.... Hope my explanation makes sense.

Rocco Mediate is also on my favs list. Not saying he had anything to do with my choice of Driver

I have never really had a favorite golfer or golfer I was a fan of but, I have started to grow pretty fond of Paul Casey. I watched a couple interviews with him and he seems like a stand up guy. Any other fans out there? Who are your Favorites?

I too use the broken and/or good left over tee's, rarely use any out of my bag. I don't pick them up when I am done though. I just figure there is another golfer out there like me who could use them.

You big jerk! I know someone who has a friend who is a lawyer. You must be one of those "Republican" people. You really could have hurt a lawyers feelings you know! As a proud member of the.... well..... Republican party.... You should just take it back...... TAKE IT BACK!!!!! This is the first I have heard about Feherty's comment, and I didn't like it...... I LOVED IT!!!!!

I only have 20 something posts on the forum and have done this twice. Posted a thread then did a search and found out I am an idiot. Then tried to delete my thread out of embarrassment but cannot figure out how or if I can. Sorry in advance for all past and/or future unresearched threads.

Brought this same question up to a (what I consider a pro) golfer friend. He told me practicing on the range is good. But don't let it keep you off the course.

A buddy invited a guy we work with the other day who has very very little experience in golf. He was using my friends clubs and on about the 3rd hole got mad when he missed a putt and stuck the end of the putter into the green as hard as he could leaving a nice groove into the green. Took everything within me to not (politely) explain to him the etiquette's of golf. Needless to say, he is not invited back.

Am I missing any clubs?

Picked up a Ping Rapture 24 degree Hybrid for a very cheap price. Went looking for a wedge but bought this. Its an older club but still bought new. Still looking for a wedge. -
Holy Cow..it's counterfit!!!!

Dumb question, pretty sure I know the answer, but what are the chances of buying a counterfeit from a legit golf shop? I assume most are bought second hand. -
Played 18 today with this grip and it seems like yesterday never happened. I think I spend way too much time at the course and not enough at the range.
