My membership is about 15 mins from my work and about 25 mins from my house. I have no problems with it.

Swinging too hard might be my problem because when i do hit it well i end up pulling it.

I'm not sure if a video is needed but for the life of me I cant hit my 6,5,4 irons solid anymore. My lower irons i'm hitting great. Driver and 3w are great. Everything is a slight fade and controled. I'm either hitting the mid irons off the toe or heel. Any ideas what i'm doing to hit so inconsistant with just those?

Sorry to rain on your parade of getting to scratch in a year from where you are. But there isnt a chance in hell that's gonna happen. Take lessons.....practice practice practice....and see how well you can improve. Getting to scratch just isn't possible for some people.

Well where do we start with this one..... 1. Like mentioned keep your left arm straight on the backswing. 2. You have no shoulder turn at all. Its all arms. 3. Way past parallel on the backswing.....most likely due to the bent left arm. 4. Flipping the club at impact. 5. Your takeaway starts wayy inside then causes you to come over the top. Thats a couple things I noticed....but just work on correcting one thing at a time and i'm sure you will get more consistant.

Todays conditions SUCK! Its 98 and humid out. But i'm still gonna tough it out and golf after I get out of work.

Yes by the rules your supposed to hit a provisional. But if your just playing a round with some buddies or yourself it wont hurt to just drop like you are. But like James said its not the right way to do it.

Yea I agree pretty accurate but my driver distance is short compared to what it says..

I have a cheap camera now that records very blurry videos at 30 fps. Would it be worth it to get a camera that does 60 fps or higher and in HD to record my swing or just stick with what I have? Suggestions anyone? I'm looking at the Kodak ZX1.

Yea never thought of quitting golf ever...i love it too much. But I've quit on many rounds and turned them into practice rounds.

I heard that Ben Roethlisberger and Natalie Gulbis played a round of golf yesterday and played match play. She said Ben beat her and Ben is said to be a 2 handicap. But that just brings my question.... Could a typical 2 handicap male player beat an LPGA player regularly or compete in the LPGA?

My best is 3 birdies in a round and they were all on par 5s too.

Just keep telling him how good of a golfer he is.....hes bound to fall apart haha. At least that works against me.

I had this same exact problem. Been playing for 6 years with self taught swing and shot high 70s - low 80s consistantly. Then last month I took my first lessons. My swing looks much better and its how its supposed to be but I haven't seen results yet. I used to hit a fade and played it well. It helped because I knew all my misses would be to the right. Now my misses are all over the place. I'm shooting in the 90s right now and its very aggravating. I'm sticking to it and hopefully I get results and better ball striking soon.
