About Me

My name is Jim Crane. I retired last year from a Conveyor Company after 38 years. I am now pursuing my passion of teaching fitness to people who would not ordinarily have access to it. After 30 years of weightlifting and 20 years of different styles of Yoga, I have found a proven way of developing strength, mobility, and balance on the body. I am healthier today than I have ever been and continue to learn. I have been teaching for the last 12 years and have taught thousands of students. I joined this forum to share ideas with others and to learn from them. Golf is a great game, but it can be tough on the body and we need to train our bodies to be up to the challenge. Sometimes Golf is looked at as easy on the body as we compare it to football or basketball, but nothing could be further from the truth. During a typical round of golf a golfer walks approximately 4-5 miles, takes over 100 practice and actual swings, leans over 30 to 40 puts, and bend down 40-50 times. Over time this all adds stress to a body that is not prepared for that workload
