  1. Sorry for late replies, been away on holiday/working. I emailed their customer service to ask how automatic tagging works and they say that they have 'ClubSense' tech in their tags which distinguishes between practice swings and real swings. Read a few reviews of their first product which was just performance tracking and they are ally pretty positive, especially when it comes to picking up shots. They have a thing called PinCollect too which is a button your press next to the hole once you have putted out and it records where the flag was for extra putting accuracy. After a bit of thought I decided what the heck, if I change my mind then I haven't lost anything...it's only a $60 refundable deposit. Excited to hear more about it and see some reviews. Looking forward to getting it myself, bring on October!
  2. Thanks for your tips @iSank I am looking forward to playing it. I hope the weather is kind to me!
  3. Hi all, I have been looking into getting a GPS watch for a while as I feel like it would greatly benefit my game. I have looked at Game Golf and Arccos and both have pretty good reviews. However, I have been online this morning and noticed a company called Shot Scope on Twitter who have just released a product which combines GPS and Performance Tracking. They are offering a $60 refundable deposit and pay remaining balance ($150 i think) when they ship in October. Product looks really good (got pic from their Twitter) and website talks a good game - https://shotscope.com/ Any of you used a Shot Scope before? I like the idea of having a GPS to help me on course and the fact it collects all my stats to look at off course seems a real bonus. Think it could definitely help me focus on my practice and improve my game. Any thoughts on this and GPS in general would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  4. Agreed @MuniGrit I reckon if Rory was where Jordan was on 13 on Sunday that he would not have made a 5, i would think a 6 at best.
  5. Yeah I think he moved in September/October last year. He has a stellar list of current clients including Stenson and Rose so he has a proven track record of working with big players. As I say the move might work for him only time will tell
  6. @Groucho Valentine I just think the flow and confidence from his stroke has diminished over the past few years. This may be down to a number of factors, equipment change, putting grip change and external media pressures but I think his recent move to Phil Kenyon has put emphasis on the perfect stroke rather than the perfect outcome. Whereas Spieth is and always has been about outcome rather than aesthetics. Rory's work with Phil Kenyon could prove very fruitful and improve his putting but I am just concerned that it may hinder is performance on the greens.
  7. Might be worth trying the Spieth technique of looking at the whole for some short putts in practice as it will revert you back to a reactionary stroke as opposed to getting too technical/clouded with thoughts. Additionally, I put a slightly thicker grip on my putter this year to help solidify the wrists during my stroke and it has greatly benefited my short putting especially.
  8. Rory is getting way too technical with his putting and is overthinking on the course. He needs to go back to a more reactionary approach I think.Technically Rory's all-round game (when on form) is waaaay better than Spieths. However Spieth has the fortitude and killer instinct that Rory seems to lack sometimes. I think it is a matter of when and not if one of them completes the grand slam and I can't wait to watch it all unfold
  9. @iSank Great round up of your trip! I am playing Brora in a competition in September and by the looks of your photos it looks interesting to say the least! Any tips or advice for the course?
