  1. Also don't forget about technology within the last few years as well. It depends on what driver he was previously using.
  2. I played this morning and shot a 73(+1). I went out in 35, but got a little ugly coming back in with a 38. Today was the first time I took out my new driver. I got a Nike SQ Str8-Fit and hit the ball the best that I have off the tee in a while.
  3. I went and played this morning before it got too hot out there. I shot a -2, 70 (Par 72). I was bogey free going out in 35. Coming back in with a 35 as well, with 2 birdies, and 1 bogey. It was a fantastic round, managed to scramble well today, and didn't get try to force anything out there.
  4. Today, I played the front 9 with my dad, and had to take a cart. I shot a 37 (+1). I started off with back-to-back birdies on opening holes. Then made an ugly double bogey on the 3rd. I short of the green in two shots after taking the wrong club. I hit a bladed the chip, and three putted from there. After that the round settled down and I ended up making bogey on another hole. I'll try to redeem myself tomorrow morning.
  5. Titleist Pro V1 because I like how they feel and perform better than anything else I've played
  6. I picked mine up a few days ago, and haven't been able to stop playing. I used the club tuner to hit the ball better and not to rely on getting stats up. This is the first time I have bought Tiger Woods on the Wii, and so far I do not have any complaints. I would definitely be interested in have those The Sand Trap Tournaments.
  7. I went and played the back 9 this morning, since the front was closed. I didn't want to be out there that long since we are under a heat advisory. I shot a 35, with 3 birdies and 2 bogeys.
  8. For my game, it has been course management. I had to figure out what my distances were, and playing safer golf. Learning that I didn't have to hit driver all the time to set myself up for a good score. Also, I worked on shaping my shots. I learned how to drawing, and fading the ball efficiently. With putting I worked on lagging the ball better for those long putts, and for those shorter ones, I concentrated on getting the ball rolling on a set path. I tell myself that I want it to roll over this mark, and not really thinking about the mechanics of the stroke anymore, because I've gotten to the point where I have the confidence that I can make a good stroke on the ball.
  9. If you are frustrated with WGT, then I suggest you try UTour. It is a easier than playing WGT. Here's the link: http://www1.skillground.com/sg/gameLanding.do?game_id=5
  10. The Master's app was a great download from the par 3 contest to the LIVE coverage. What app do you normally use to track scores every week? I've been using Sportacular, but it crashes a lot when cycling through the news articles.
  11. Great choice on irons. I got a set of the Pro Combos when I was 16 years old, and still use them today. They are in excenllent condition, and can't imagine using anything else. I recently added a 2 iron to the set even.

    Eagles?

I've made 2 eagles so far this year. I've blown about 5 other chances though. Never had the pleasure of making an ace, or dropping one into the cup with an iron.
  13. I shot an even par, 72, this morning at Shadow Ridge Golf Club.(shadowridgegolf.com) I went out in 38, making bogey on 7 and 9. Then, I came in with a 34, making 4 birdies, and 2 bogeys.
  14. I play with a 10.5º Driver, 3W, 2-PW, SW, and a putter of course. So, that is 13 clubs. I'm still looking for another wedge to add in there soon. I've been playing for a few months, after a 3 year stint away from the game, and discovered that I need another club to help me out.
