I think this beats Tiger’s 2019 win…forgive me for that. …Maybe not, but they’re right there neck & neck in my book….I’ll rephrase, I don’t think I’ve ever wanted someone to win & was happier when they did more than Rory today, but Tiger in 2019 would be really close.

Agreed - I wasn’t a fan of his in the early years, but I’ve grown to have more respect for him than nearly everyone else on Tour. His last few holes today were so deflating I prefer older Rory better, the Anti-LIV Rory

Not sure how I feel about that. Heckling is always been part of sports and a professional athlete should be able to ignore comments and continue on with their play. Having said that, historically golf has a higher standard of etiquette. I agree with you that fans who are a problem shouldn’t be tolerated. I think should be removed from the premises in hopes to discourage behavior, but I’m not sure I can justify Rory taking the guys phone from him.

If all they did was the biceps tenodesis, I suspect you’ll be playing within a couple of months as long as you’re diligent with your rehab and do what you’re supposed to be doing. If they did a labral repair/any rotator cuff repair, that will slow things down quite a bit, but take heart that you will be out there soon enough!

2/23/25 - it’s been awhile (I’ve noticed I start quite a few posts with that). My wife is doing well! We’ve been blessed with how everything has turned out so far. But after playing just a few rounds all last year, I was looking forward to getting back out on the course. As Mr. Murphy would have it, I’ve had some chronic reoccurring golfer’s elbow intermittently flaring up for years, but have had pretty painful unrelenting bout now for 3 months despite typical conservative treatments of Ice, oral & injectable NSAIDs, steroid injection, physical therapy (to include dry needling and typical modalities) and as of last week, a PRP injection. No better. Holding out hope as the PRP injection can take a couple of weeks to take. While statistically most folks won’t need surgery, my last step is just that. I didn’t even pay the $40 this year to keep my GHIN going since it’ll be months before I can hit a few balls. No responses needed, not fishing for anything. Just posting since I’ve had nothing to post in a while.
