I know Nota begay III uses a custom ball, saw it last year at q-school at my course. he also so played a bunch of rounds with my dad last winter and was telling him about it. the dimples on his callaway ball were much shallower then the standard ball. and he got throught q-school last year using it so take it as you may

i bought a set of MacGreggor MT pro-m irons (blades) in the gun metal this summer, off of ebay, and i have to say, i love them. I will say that they but a high price on making solid contact but other than that they are a great set of clubs, if you want a good set of clubs weather you get the blades or combo set i would get them, last time i was in golf smith i think they were like 300 or a shade under, for that price its hard to say no to a good set, and it wont break the bank

just started using this club, got to say that i love it, it feels like all i have to do is swing and i can hit it a mile, i had a R7 quad before with a speeder 757, hit it well but nothing like this, the look of it took some time to get use to but and the sound, but other than that love it

im going to play the black course this weekend. im leaving CT on thursday guna sleep in my car and try to get out early in the morning,any advice for a first timer playing the black, also is there a range to use while were waiting to play?

im in the same problem as you, i have MacGregor pro-m (black very nice ) but they have have rifle 6.0 project x, i was thinking bout putting in TT high launch or some type of nippon, not really sure.

use to work a lot at Kiawah Island, (did constrution) have seen all the courses there, i think theres 4 maybe 5 never played it, but i must say very well designed and is on my list to play well worth the money, cant wait for the 2012 PGA, and im hoping the ryder cup will come back would be awsome

so i just bought a set of macgregor irons off ebay, love them but hate the shafts. they are project X rifle shafts 6.0. my last set of irons were AP1 with True Tempor high launch. i want to put those same shafts in but, im not sure if i need tapered or not and any recomendations on how to install them so i dont damage the head.(there gunmetal) any help would be great. also anyone use the sensicore true temore shafts how are?

imperial to metric but i agree completly with you everyone is so concerned with how far they hit it yet when they have a wedge into a green they have no idea what to do.

Played the tp burner and the reg burner, along with the tp red/black reply didn't like the burner ball that much I would recomend the tp red or black and most place u can get 2 dozen for 50 or so

took all the color off my newport with just some goof-off and a q-tip, you can buy it at most hardware stores, dosent do any damage to the club, and it looks pretty good with out any colors on there

all i have to say is, was it worth it

For the money you can't beat titleist best feeling glove I've ever worn and the one I'm using now has lasted bout two months

So I justbought a new set of clubs off eBay a set of macgregor pro mt blades anyone ever play these or have them what are ur thoughts on them

Notah Begay III, hes a member at the club i belong to in Texas, hes a real nice guy and have played with him a couple times, not to mention he tries to help you out as you play and dosent have that ego of being a tour player like some guys on tour

What about picking up an extra wedge, maybe 52/54 depending on how u play or what could help you more
