I hate this. Several times recently I've hit within 10 yards of the green and when I get there my ball isn't there. Once time I think someone swiped my ball but the others I have no explanation. Maybe squirrels are hoarding them.

Sorry for being so slow to sign up, I'm in guys. Just one more player now. Ha ha, I'm closing on a house on Sep. 3. If that works for everyone I can just set it to auto draft but another date would be better for me for sure. Right now return yards are set to 10 yards per point. Can we adjust that? Most leagues I've played in make it around 25/point. Also I would bump the value of a safety up a point or two, they're more valuable than a blocked kick or fumble recovery since they score points and create a possession.

What did you play previously, and how do the 52s compare to them?

I would be happy to shoot my age over par! I thought I would do it this year but I haven't been able to play as much as I expected to.

I got in on that deal too. As did 6000+ other people before they changed the price. I got an email this morning saying they cancelled my order because it was a pricing mistake. Your friend is not going to get R9 TPs for $112. It's a bummer but it happens a lot with online pricing.

Are there any advantages to having the shaft cut down vs. just choking down when swinging?

One thing I don't get is knocking Brock for his size. He is not 310 lbs. on accident. He had to work hard to get that big and that strong. He is blessed with a big frame, after that it was all hard work. It is work to be as big as he is and still be agile, fast, etc. Of course it's an advantage, but it's not like he's cheating. He uses his size and strength, which he worked hard to achieve, to win fights. If he improves his standup I think he will be almost impossible to beat.

Yes that would've been very bad. I was very lucky that day. If I believed in karma I would say it's the reason I shot such a bad score. I had to save up my luck for getting my stuff back!

I based that comment not on him losing (which I did not even see so I can't comment on it) but on interviews I've read where people who know more than me about the MMA world were saying that was the rumor going around. As in he's not training as much for fights, he's not as into it as he used to be, he might retire, etc.

My story isn't quite that bad but it is embarrassing. I actually started typing it out but then realized it wasn't interesting enough to go into every detail. Long story short, I lost my LW, then my SW, then my Blackberry. The group behind me found both clubs and the group behind them found my BB. The SW almost went home with somebody but they apparently changed their minds, got it out of their car, and gave it back to me as we were about to leave. I have a terrible habit of leaving a club next to a hazard or off the green and then forgetting to pick it up.

I think Fedor in his prime vs. Lesnar would've been a great fight, but as of now I think Lesnar would win. I've gotten the impression Fedor is losing interest in fighting. Of course that is hard to say, he's not the most forthcoming guy.

Using up some Maxfli Revolutions right now. Then on to a big batch of Callaway Warbirds that I got used/logo overrun for dirt cheap. Once I improve I have some Maxfli 3 and 4 piece balls that I found on a killer sale (as in $7-$10/dozen). I don't want to waste those right now though at my current level.

I found a new 22.5" Weber kettle grill for half price on CL. Picking up tonight. I eventually want to build a backyard kitchen but that is not in the budget right now, so this will do nicely for the short term.

I get not wanting to wait until after preseason but at least after training camp. July 30th makes it hard to even do all the pre-draft research I usually do. If no one else wants to wait I'll just take a pass on this league. Good luck to you all.

Any way to wait til after pre-season or at least training camps are over? I don't want to draft a guy that gets hurt before the first real game is played.

I'm buying a house in September and plan to pick up a new grill. I've been looking at one at Lowes that does both propane and charcoal, and has a smoker box attachment. But some of the reviews online said they rust quickly. Reading reviews can make you think that there are no grills out there worth buying. Do any of you have any suggestions? I definitely want a charcoal grill big enough to feed 15ish people on the weekends. I would also like the convenience of a propane grill for weeknights when I'm just cooking some burgers or brats for the family. A 2-in-1 seems like a neat idea but if there aren't any worth buying then I'm not against having 2 separate grills. I am pretty open for suggestions.
