What a great game. Tennessee pulls it out in the end.

I have a streak of about my last 7 rounds shooting over 100. And if I happen to break that streak this year I will blame it all on this thread. So please, please help me break my streak.

In my honest opinion a slam dunk is when a person goes up and throws the ball threw the hoop and grabs the rim. If you are going to define what he did as a dunk, then you would have to allow someone to do a finger roll and count it as a dunk. I am not saying it was not impressive, but I am sure if you asked if he ment to do that he would say no he ment to dunk it.

I have to go with Tennessee on this one. They are my second team, I have family that live down there and I have always rooted for them. I also think they are the better team. I know Memphis is undefeated, but come on they play in C-USA. Which is not that tough of a conference.

This happened during the PGA Championship last year. It was not an addition error, it was a wrong score. Boo Weekley, put down a 4 for Garcia on the 17th hole when he really made a 5 and Sergio signed off on it.

I do not know the rule on this, but as someone already has said. I do not see how it would be any different than a yardage book with the same information in it. You just would not have the pretty pictures of each hole.

I agree, his first dunk was awsome and was very deserving of the perfect score. You are probably right that set the tone for the whole contest. I will admit I did get caught up in the moment when he took his jersey off and had the Superman shirt on. It made you think what the hell is he going to do.

I think usually you would get a 20 degree to replace the 3 iron and a 23 degree to replace your 4 iron.

This is the first dunk contest I have watched in a long time and agree that it was very entertaining. Say what you will, but the Dwight Howard superman jump shot was not a dunk. It should not have counted much less been given a perfect score.

Looks like it was a very bad weekend for the top 10 teams. The 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th and 10th ranked teams all went down, this past week. MY Mountaineers got outcoached by USF again this year. I guess Coach Rod did not learn his lesson from last year. You cannot run east to west on a team that has as much speed as you do. You line up, punch them in the mouth by playing power football. Run it right down their throats.

So what happens if the bunker is full of water. For example, my bother-in-law and I were playing a round and there was a down poor of rain at about 4 am. So when we played it was still quite wet out. Anyways one of the traps was filled with water, so there was no way you could drop in the bunker without being in the water. Would you still have to take a penalty stroke?, it does not seem like you would.

To hell with both of them. LOL!!!!!!! Seriously though I am a slower player and i know it. If someone in my group tells to pick up the pace I am playing to slow, I say ok and that I am sorry for slowing everyone down. It is just stupid to for him to get pissed, just say sorry and play faster.

Mine is Darren Clarke enjoying a cigar during a round of golf. I too enjoy a cigar on the golf course.

I agree about it being stupid. It is one thing to yell it on a putt, still think it is stupid, but to yell it on a par 4/5 that is 450+.

I guess the better question would be, if I wear a polo with only two buttons would you consider that unfit for the course? I personally would not think so.

I have a question. Why does a shirt have to have 3 buttons to be considered a golf shirt? Just doesn't make sense to me.

I voted for Natalie just because I have always liked her. Am I missing something her, is there a story behind this?

I have 4 but usually only carry 3 of them. My Pitching Wedge, a 53 degree and a 56 degree (SW). I will sometimes change out the 56 for my 60 degree if I am playing a course with no sand traps.

I gave him the benefit of the doubt and said he would finish in the top 10. I actually believe that he will have a complete melt down finish out of the top 10.

TJ Maxx is a good store to find some really good deals, but on the other hand you have to be there at the right time. I have gone in there before and looked around for about 30 min and not found a thing, then you can go in there the next week and find all kinds of stuff. That is the only thing that I do not like about TJ Maxx. If you like going to TJ Maxx then another place you might want to check out, if you have one in your area, is Marshalls. They are owned by the same company and are pretty much the same as far as finding deals go.

Yeah me either. i had not been in a while and happened to be in the mall yesterday and decided to go in, and they had a big display with Bubba Watson on it. Most of the shirts looked pretty nice, except for a few i did not care for. To get a moisture wicking shirt like that for $15 is impossible. I might have to give them a try. I will say that the shorts looked a little strange the way they were made, material mostly.

I usually just wear a pair of cargo shorts and a polo shirts. I don't tend to dress crazy on the course, at least to me it isn't. I have a lime green shirt and a orange shirt I wear sometimes, but do not consider them to be crazy colors, and no i do not think the way you dress is that much of an intimidation factor. Woo Hoo I finally get to make a post in this thread. My first 18 holes of the year. I hit some good shots and of course some not so good ones. I shot my best score ever at 101. I know it is not that good but like I said the best score i have ever shot. The amazing part is that I hurt my back on hole #6 and shot better on the back nine than I did on the front 9. My two best two shots of the round were, Shot #1) A thirty foot chip in, for a bogey unfortunately, and Shot #2) A 156 yrd par 3. Stepped up hit a nice tee shot dead on the flag and landed about 15 to 20 feet away from the hole. I had a shot at birdie but of course i two putted. Ended up making two pars for the round though and i will take it. Now i am going out on my front porch to clean my clubs, smoke a cigar and enjoy a Sam Adams Brown Ale.

Nice, me too.

This is just crazy. I do not think they will be able to uphold this rule.
