  1. I was in the same boat as you Joey. I cut mine down an inch and still had issues with hitting the driver. I have since then worked out my kinks in the swing and it feels a lot better. I feel like I am swinging a club instead of a hockey stick.
  2. I love both since I am always hitting from 100 yards in to the green. I am never on the green in two. Ha Ha. My friend is missing a gap wedge and he always complains about how he wants one cause he is always in between clubs for that distance. I would definitely invest in both if you can.
  3. Ya, I wish I had a Jeep SRT-8. Those things are nice! I barely have any mods. Agp WGA, SEE,BFMIC. I wish I could put a 50 trim on the car, but I am done spending any kind of money on the car. Ha Ha.
  4. 2005 Dodge Neon Srt-4 Has 85k miles on it and still running strong!
  5. Dang, that must have taken a long time to carve, ha ha. Looks good though!
  6. I have been using the Nike One Vapor Speed. I like them a lot. Used one ball for 18 holes and only had one little scuff on it.
  7. lol I have the x-24's and like them a lot. I have never hit the AP1's before, so I can't comment on them. I'm pretty sure though that the x-24's and AP1's will meet any expectations you have in an iron, especially at your handicapp. It all comes down to the look and feel of the club in your hands.
  8. Sucks that people are having quality issues with the FT-IZ. I've had mine since it came out in the summer and have no issues whatsoever. (knock on wood) I am a righty though. ;)
  9. Box of Nike Vapor Speed golf balls
  10. Both my hybrids are "R" flex as well as my irons.
  11. Odyssey White Ice #9 :)
  12. Wedges look great! Might have to try and stamp mine sometime.
  13. Regardless of what you do, I would stay away from a draw driver. You may not take lessons, but if you keep slicing the ball, you can try to correct what you are doing. The draw driver will just mask a poor golf swing.
  14. Ha Ha Ha!!!!
  15. A box of callaway tour i(s).
  16. So I decided to splurge and get a box of the Callaway Tour I(s)'s. I think I am hooked. The nicest ball I have ever played was the Top-Flite Gamer. The Callaway played so well around the greens and stuck really well on my iron shots. The durability was amazing compared to the Gamers I have been playing. Now I understand why players swear by Pro V1's and other nice balls as well. Once I get through this box, I might pick up a box of Pro V1's to check them out. I just bought the Callaway's because they were $3 cheaper :) Zack
  17. This is the current state of my bag. I am pretty happy with it.
  18. Congrats man! I just got mine as well. I love the look of these things. Can't wait to start playing them.
  19. I love my FT-iz. It definitely seems to keep the ball straighter.
  20. Thanks tws1098. I ended up just doing two wraps. Midsize might be a smidge to big, so I am looking forward to how two wraps will feel!
  21. Ha ha ha! Well I've gotten 2,3,4 as an answer. I think I will go with three. I just like the grips to be bigger than standard. If it's to big or small I can just take it in and get it redone. Thanks for the replies guys!! Zack
  22. Thanks for the replies. Here's a little more detail. I am ordering a club from callaways site. They offer different grips that you can get put on the club. They offer the golf pride multi compound which I want. You can only get it in the standard size and then add wraps to your liking. There is no extra charge for this grip. That is why I want to get it from their site. If I had to pay extra for this grip I would just buy a midsize one and get it installed somewhere else. Hope this adds a little more info to my situation. Thanks, Zack
  23. I use golf pride tour velvet midsize grips now. I am going to order a new club. They do not offer a midsize grip. They have options up to +7 wraps of tape. If the width is not perfect to a midsize grip, that's ok. I just want to be in the range of a midsize grip. Thanks guys, Zack
  24. Here is a video I uploaded of my swing. Would like some critiquing. I can try and upload one without the lines drawn on it. Just trying to mess around with this app. It's really cool. Also, any other advice on how to draw the lines to make sure I am on plane. This was with my 5 iron. Thanks! Zack
  25. I always clean my clubs during the round after shots. I try to wipe them clean with my towel or brush the grooves out with my golf brush. I always bring them in and wash them after I hit up the range or course. I just enjoy spending the time keeping them clean!!
