  1. I recently picked up an adams a12 pro hybrid with a Ozik Matrix altus stiff shaft. I like how the club feels but i didn't get to hit it with the Aldila RIP shaft. If anyone could explain the difference in these two shaft options I would really appreciate it.\ Thanks Chris
  2. I like to use an 8 iron on most bump and run shots but I have used almost all my irons at some point. To gauge distance you have to imagine it like a putt and get the feel for it. I like it alot better than using a wedges cause its a lot more consistent and your misses are better.
  3. Try closing your stace a little this will help get a more inside-out swing path and will give you some of the draw spin that will work the ball back right to left.
  4. Hey Everyone, Lately i've been having many problems with my driver and hitting very bad low running hooks that start out very low(5-10 yrds. of the ground) slighty right of my target and after about 100-150 yards they take a huge left turn and roll for what seems another 150 yards. Ive taken a few lessons with just my driver and my pro tells me to try and swing to right field while releasing the clubhead by turning my hands over but this just seems to make it worse. Is this the right way to fix a hook or is my pro wrong about the swing path and trying to get me to release the club head. P.S. My shot shape with my irons is a draw and I always have a left to right divot. The driver is the club holding me back and preventing me from scoring since im usually hitting three from where I should be hitting two. All Help would be very much appreciated
  5. So holding it out more DTL when i take it away might help fix my plane
  6. Thanks, im gonna try and get a face on vid tommorow. I think one of my bigger problems is swing plane thats why i gave a DTL view but i will get the other view up tommorow
  7. Thanks, should be good now
  8. Hey, Vid is of my driver swing, this club gives me the most problems and is without a doubt the worst club in my bag. My miss is a low duck hook that runs forever once it hits, if i catch it good it will be a 5-10 yrd draw. My irons are good normally with a 5 yrd draw. Any help will be appreciated thanks in advance.
  9. Not to hijack your thread OP but me and you are possibly in a similiar situation(probably not since your a 2 hdcp) so I'll post my problem and maybe iacas can chime in with his advice. The hooks i am hitting start slightly right of my target line and then quickly turn left and cut across the fairway with a ton of roll when it hits the ground(the ball flight is low to the ground). If my knowledge on ball flight laws are correct this should be from a slightly open clubface with a servere inside to out swing path. When I hit it good it will just be a 10-15 yard draw(not very often) that starts right and works back to the target line. Im almost positive its due to a severe inside to out path but im not sure how to straighten it out. Thanks
