  1. Thanks man. And judging by your handicap, I know I can trust your opinion. Since I don't keep that man clubs in the bag, I think I might use both of them, kinda like Phil.
  2. I was able to acquire the DYMO for $97.25, the day after a friend (golfineric), let me try his 907 D2. I'm still tied up as of which to use. Has anyone hit the 907 D2, and has thoughts on it?
  3. In my opinion, I think that you should go with the G15's. The Raptures are a bit too expensive, and I don't think it's worth spending $600 more. The G15, from what I tried, are a very good club. In fact, I know of a guy who switched to G15's, and he's near a 5 or so handicap. Another option may be the AP1's, but don't let me influence you too much, I'm a pure hacker.
  4. If you guys have any grips (preferable not winn), and they wear down, instead of changing them, you might as well give 400 grit sandpaper a chance. I did it to my old grips, and they feel much tackier. Hope this helps.
  5. Thank you eric, although you are too late, and I have already bought my Vokey 568 *wink wink*
  6. That's what I did, and I definitely gained 10 yards on 4-7 iron, and I got so much more control on my shorter irons. I'm also 15 haha.
  7. Ahhh, well then I should get my AP2's bent 2* stronger haha.
  8. I usually change my golf glove whenever the glove has a hole in it. Which means around 3 months or so. I don't really have to alternate gloves even when it is 93*, I usually just take the glove off and dry it for a bit, that usually does it.
  9. Thanks guys. The gamers aren't that bad, just not my ball. So enjoy your replacement balls. And thanks for the tip cody.
  10. Yeah, it definitely is a good idea. I'm loving my set now!
  11. You're in luck my friend. I was just fitted for AP1's about 2 weeks ago. I got my clubs a couple of days ago, and they are really nice. They are great for your handicap, however, I think you should get AP1 in 3-7i and 8-P in AP2. The AP2 feel really really good in the shorter irons. In total, it comes to under $800. Definitely get AP1's they are very nice.
  12. Thanks for all the input guys, and I do understand that I am a 16. Or a 15. I'm still trying to build my HC through the NCGA, so it's approximate. I'm able to make the ball check 80% of the time with NXT tour/Pro V1, maybe it was the greens I was playing on.
  13. I honestly think that this album is a little bit different, and Zach Gill on Piano is a bit overused on some of the songs. IMO, he's only a good addition when live.
  14. I use them, and I like them because they come with short tees, as well as long tees. And they hardly ever break for me.
  15. Maybe for you, but I didn't get any check or anything. I thought I might get even a big of spin, but I was nowhere near spin.
  16. I absolutely have given up on top flite. There was so much hype regarding the gamers, most saying that the balls spin a lot. They do not. I played a whole round at a par 3 course, where I was hitting pitching and sand wedges into the greens, and i would land the ball a couple feet past the hole, and the ball would release to the back of the green, and roll off. Half swing wedges had absolutely no check, even when hit cleanly. My conclusion: Top Flite sucks. Your thoughts?
  17. Does anyone know where I can find some sunglasses that aren't too expensive (*cough* oakley *cough*)? I had a pair but they broke...
  18. Jack Johnson- To the Sea
  19. I did not know that haha, shanks a million!
  20. I was thinking about getting a 60* VR wedge. I like the high rev grooves, but the vokey wedges seem softer to me. What do you guys think?
  21. If you could do a view from behind that would help, but this is good too. I am no means a teacher, so you don't have to listen to my advice. Your takeaway has the thumb issue, but that's all I can see. At the top of the swing your left arm is at bent. Tiger's swing shows his left arm fully extended and straight, so that could be something to potentially fix. I'm not an expert on impact position, so I can't help you with that. However, right after impact, your arms are scrunched up inside. It would probably help if you released the club, and extended your arms at the end of the swing. That's all I can help, I wish you the best for your swing.
  22. From my knowledge, if you bent a 54* to 55*, it would cause the leading edge to be farther out, and vice versa when bending a 56 to 55. I would probably go with the 56 to 55, mainly because it would decrease the amount of bounce and cause the leading edge to be less protruding. But then again, that's me, do what you feel is right.
  23. I have the 07 burner 19*, and I like it a lot. The main reason I like it is the audio feedback you get when you hit it solid, as well as how the ball comes off the face hot. I haven't tried the Callaway X wood, so I can't comment on that.
  24. I'm basically the opposite of you, I'm extremely short, getting around 220 with my driver. Weight lifting here I come...
  25. I got fitted for them just his last wednesday, with the Trackman system. Out of everything, the AP1's were the best, most forgiving for me. Keep in mind that I was playing complete blades that I was also fitted for a year ago, but that went south, and I lost all confidence in my irons.
