Bad analogy. Did not Bryant maintain his innocence? Of course he should have kept playing. To do otherwise would have put more doubts in peoples mind. Totally different thing with Tiger. Although not a criminal act he has admitted to the "charges" brought against him. Leaving golf for a time is probably something that his wife has asked him to do. Probably not as nicely as I have portrayed here.

Ok..I'll admit that I don't even know the name of the tournament that just finished in South Africa, but the 18th hole on the last day was a real bugger. Seems like every other guy was dunkin their ball in the drink after a nasty bounce on the green. I thought I heard that one guy even scored a 10 (par 5 hole). I don't know much about Pablo Martin, but with a 2 stroke lead was able to control his nerves and make par without geting wet. Very refreshing to see good golf from guys that don't get a lot of press.

Personally, I think you are OK for now. Having a daughter with less than a year to go at schooll, I am willing to bet that your life will be getting a bit busy real soon. Studying, graduation and landing a job will most likely take precedent. If you are striking the ball fairly well with what you have, you might want to wait until your swing has settled down before getting fitted and putting out the big bucks.

I'm no soothsayer. It was really just a gut feeling. I have just returned to golf after a long hiatus and never really got on the Tiger bandwagon. Maybe I see him more mortal than others do. Needless to say, I wish him and his family well.

This is the way I look at it. If Tiger wants to remain married, he is going to have to makle some concessions this coming season. He probably won't be able to play as many tournaments although I am sure his sponsers may have something to say about that. If his wife divorces him, he will have that stress hanging over his head. This will not be the same thing that he endured when his father died, nor when he was playing with the bum knee. At this point, I'm not sure he would want to win 2 majors or a half dozen tournaments. That would only show that he is heartless and that his infidelity hasn't affected him at all. Just playing Devil's Advocate here.

My Uncle had a Toranado some years ago. He was quite the swinging bachelor in his day. I got to ride it in a few times as a kid. pretty kewl.

The steel shaft could weigh almost twice as much as a graphite. You might want to rethink that one.
