This is what we are doing, but will not lose points for double or worse. i will get a summary on the outing thread but probably not until wed night or Thursday. I just do not trust my “finger typing” on the phone and do not have my laptop with me.

It does not seem too far out of line other than you indicated a lot of wind which may make it less likely. With 4 putts on every hole there is a good chance of dropping a few long puts and rarely 3 putting so even much HCP may score well if the can get on or near the green in Regulation. I’ve never seen a handicapped scramble so the -29 seems absurd but co up of be in line.

So much for Threetops today. The grey dot is the course. We just went straight to Garland …

Heading to Northern Michigan today. 1st round is Threetops (9 hole Par-3 course) in Gaylord this afternoon. It is looking to be wet and cool with 80% chance of rain and 59 degrees but to me the radar looks to clear about an hour before our tee time so I am hopeful.🤞 Tomorrow & Wednesday is Garland Resort in Lewiston which is looking to be drier and a little warmer.

That’s a tough one and I share your pain. I often get frustrated at slow play in front of me and then I fall off the rails.

Unfortunately in today's world often times "Transgressions" are overlooked to avoid a potentially violent confrontation. Just think how many times you hear about road-rage because someone honked a horn at another motorist or someone gets shot over some minor issue. It would be nice to see them kicked off the course but nobody wants to be the 1 out of a 1000 rangers that gets shot by some stupid jerk.

I'm not sure that is even relevant. The idea of the fingers is how far above (Right) or below (Left) the hole to aim to account for the break. As you get father away a "2 Finger" putt automatically directs you to aim more left or right of the hole regardless of how tall or short the golfer may be.

I may need to brush up on my AimPoint. I have been using my finger on 3-8 foot putts.

OK, then instead of "PGAT Players" we can just say "Non-LIV Players". I'm not sure that changes my opinion much. unless all 21 PGA Pros missed the cut which would dramatically impact the percentage of PGAT Players making the cut throwing more advantage to the "Non-LIV" group.

I use percentages a lot and to translate above to % Of the total 153 in the field (excludes WD) 78 made the Cut is @ 51% overall. Of the 16 LIV in the field 11 made the cut is @ 69% vs the 67 PGAT Players making the cut is @ 49% - Advantage to LIV...But you could also say they were bigger fish in the smaller pond. Of the 11 LIV Players that made the Cut @ 6% were in the Top 10 vs @ 7% of the PGAT Players - Slight Advantage to PGAT Of the 11 LIV Players that made the Cut 2, @ 9% were between 10-25 vs @ 21% of the PGAT Players - Advantage PGAT Of the 11 LIV Players that made the Cust 7, @ 64%, were in the bottom 38 players vs @ 46% of the PGAT Players - Advantage PGAT In my opinion PGAT performed better overall despite LIV wining the % that made the cut. It is true that making the cut is a big deal but in reality all that means is they were better than the bottom 50% of all players. If we are looking to identify the "Cream of the Crop" simply being in the top 50% does not cut it. I agree, no asterisks needed.
