  1. Bobby Jones British club
  2. I currently have 13 clubs in my bag and am looking for a 14th. I was looking at a lob wedge (Vokey SM or CG14) Could anyone tell me the advantages (or disadvantages) of getting a lob wedge. My short game is pretty good and the primary use will be 40 yards and in.
  3. Would you reccomend a lob wedge?
  4. could be a lot of things - wrong shaft, to little loft etc. when i am at the range, i always hit my short irons first and move up because that keeps my swing under control. that helps a lot. Otherwise i would need to see your swing.
  5. 2 Hybrid may be a more versatile club but i would take the 5 wood and use the 3 hhybrid off the fairway when neccessary. 5 wood would be more distance while 2 might be more control off of the tee. I cant see the 2 hybrid being to helpful from the fairwy either
  6. confidence.......?
  7. 47 would be perfect 47/51/54/56 or 57 sounds like a good set for your yardages bending and customizing your clubs can cost anywhere from nothings (which is extremely rare) up to around $100-130
  8. 4 wood wouldnt be a terrible idea. going with a wedge in between 51-56 seems like a tight squeeze. you could bend your clubs and get it something like 50/53/56-57 if you have the funds. If you dont want to do that but still really want a club between the gap and pitch, you could go for a 54 as that should give a more balanced yardge gap
  9. i am in a pretty similar situation you are in. i also hit it about the same distance. I decided that i am going with a 60 for Xmas. I dont really need a 5 wood at all.
  10. little bounce to make my bag more versatile i have a standard 50.10, a high 56.14 so a low bounce lob wedge seems to make sense
  11. I am looking for a new lob wedge I have it down to the Vokey 60.04 and the cleveland CG12 DSG 60.04. Which would you reccomend? I will be using the club from 30 yards and in for high soft shots. Spin isnt a priority either.
  12. Cleveland because im in love with there wedges only difference would be a taylormade driver i could play with everything else PS - those Srixon balls are extremely underrated
  13. 56 - 85 50 - 105 45 - 120

  17. Replaced my Adams Speedline 3 wood with a Nike Dymo best investment of all time also got some Callaway tour IX's to try
  18. Peachtree Golf club great place
  19. Callaway Warbirds fly forever
  20. get Adams a7's there wayy better for low to mid cappers or the a7os for higher hcps
  21. i am a new fanatic to the game of golf. I need a new set of irons so i got some about 3 weeks ago. I tested the Mizuno MX300, Adams a7, Callaway x-20, and Taylormade burner. I narrowed it down to the Mizunos and Adams - the 2 i least expected to be their. After awhile, I decided on the Adams because they were much better feeling and more consistent. The Mizunos were great, but the Adams just felt better. I have tested them on the course and have never looked back. The BEST part is the hybrids - their so good it feels like cheating. The 5 iron is strange at first but once your used to it, it really goes. It has tremendous forgiveness as well. If i had to do it again, id go with the a7's, no doubt.
  22. LOVE cleveland wedges testes the CG12, Vokey SM, Nike VR, and Callaway X's Cleveland felt, flew, and spun the best
  23. Bag a dymo fairway they go a mile and are the straightest fairways ive ever hit along with the taylormade v-steels
