  1. Ipswich CC is a very nice private course. It is an hour North of Boston. Granite Links is 15 minutes South and Pinehills is 45 minutes South. Waverly Oaks is another very nice course across the highway from Pinehills. Shaker Hills, Red Tail & Cyprian Keyes are probably an hour and 15 minutes NorthWest and a more difficult commute. If you only have two days, stick to Ipswich and Granite Links. All drive times are with-out traffic delays. Avoid rush hour (7-9 am/4-6 pm)
  2. We play anything from 6200 to 6600, but I'm most comfortable at 6300.
  3. Our trip is at the begining of April. We are playing Shingle Creek, Harmony Golf Preserve, Sugarloaf Mountain and Eagle Creek. In the past, I've enjoyed Southern Dunes, Orange County National (both), Osprey Ridge and Celebration.
  4. As much as I enjoy any of the 8 different single malts in my cabinet, I can't pass up a Napa Valley Cabernet.
  5. I have less problems in Providence (my son goes to JWU) than around Boston. This time of year, you just can't be in a hurry.
  6. I have a 2009 Chevy Silverado Extended Cab for work. Best truck I've ever had. Off-hours I drive my 2008 Acura TL. As much as I like the truck, I'd much rather drive the Acura.
  7. I bought a Samsung 58" Plasma. Highest rated TV that Consumer Reports ever tested. All my friends have had HD TV's for a few years and they've all been blown-away watching the Patriots games on my new TV.
  8. I cut my Ping G2 Driver down to 44.25" and added lead tape to the head. It now swings at D6 and I love it. I have not lost any distance and I'm in the fairway way more often. Best thing I ever did, it's been in the bag for 4 years.
  9. I got the 17 degree 3 (?) wood with the regular flex gold shaft. It must be a 4 wood with that loft. I love it. It's easy to hit off of the deck and it's as longer than my Callaway 15 degree FT 3 wood with the Fit On 160 shaft. The shaft in the Cleveland is nice and firm, the Callaway was much too whippy.
  10. You owe it to yourself to play Hammock Bay. It is off of Collier Blvd. just before Marco Island.
