I find that some will knock off some of the cost pf clubfitting if you buy clubs there. You are right about the big box stores. Either one of your other choices will work well. Ask about discount on clubfitting if you buy from them. The worst they can say is no.

I used a Nickent 4DX Evolver Driver for 3 years It is a well designed club and had a cult like following among with golfers that wanted great performance and didn't care it wasn't named Taylor Made,.Callaway or Titleist, Nickent went out of business 2 years ago, but they made a GREAT product! Do not by Nickent from Golf Galaxy or Dicks. They bought the name and use it a house brand, If you can find one with a cyg adaptor buy if fast. It could be the flex difference, weight difference, shaft flexing point or length.

On any given round I might put a different set of irons,wedges and FW in my bag.The driver and hybrids don't change as much. The putter will change between a 35 1/2",41" and 48" depending on speed of greens that I am playing. I don't play in tornaments any more, so I just play for fun. Changing up clubs is fun for me since I am a Club Ho!
