  1. Hell, with your skills you should be a snow bird.
  2. 2008 Audi A6 Quattro because I live in Chicago and need something better than anything else in the snow. That being said, I'm lusting after an S6 and will buy one as soon as one comes around within my price range. Nothing, and I mean nothing beats an Audi in the snow.
  3. I wouldn't laugh because my grandfather is in his late 80's and had a heart attack last year. Old people are fragile. That being said, you should see the otter guy.
  4. I don't care how you do it, but don't get her on a course when it's busy. Everyone will hate you and your fiance will hate you. You'll have a miserable day and so will everyone else behind you.
  5. And I thought this was about golfing tips. I tip because I can and when I want to. I don't tip when I can't and I don't want to.
  6. Hot in the Winter and cold in the Summer.
  7. The best state is.... The state of your mind.
  8. No, but I label my balls.
  9. I'll be watching this closely.
  10. Hated them when I bought them on-line. I suggest only buy them after inspecting them in person.
  11. I bought a Golfguru GPS and love it. Non-subscription unit. Does what i need it to do and then some.
  12. I just replaced my Mizuno wedges with Vokeys.
  13. 2 Vokey spin milled wedges (56 and 60). 2009 non-conforming stock, but I'm not playing in a USGA event in the near future...or distant future.
  14. Golfers love to criticize other people to take attention off their own shitty performance. Any golfer who criticizes another player's choices isn't a golfer I'd like in my foursome. Screw them if they critique your bag choice. Get what you want.
  15. rockbottomgolf.com and tgw.com are the two on-line stores, then Golfsmith for a bricks retailer.
  16. Next time buy blades instead of performance enhancement equipment. Then you'll really do yourself a favor by having to hit the ball near perfectly.
  17. Post what you're working on, why, what you hope to accomplish, how you're doing about it, etc. Post when you begin something new, take a new approach, etc. Don't reply to any posts unless your reply also accomplishes the two things listed above. I'm working on muscle memory that has been forgotten over the long winter in Chicago. Catching up with my golf coach and hitting the range. Not sure if I'm doing anything new other than going to be recording my swing and analyzing it by myself.
  18. I'm not going to question how Tiger lives is life because it isn't any of my business. It just sucks that society will treat his kids differently as a result. I have no problem with what he did because I'm not him. But, I wouldn't have if I were him because of the kids. Just my $.02.
  19. I couldn't agree more! Don't over analyze what you're doing. Put the fun into fundamentals...otherwise you're putting mental into it, and that will ruin your day.
  20. You're doing something wrong and you have to fix it. Either find a friend who can coach your swing, find a pro, or video tape it and review the fundamentals yourself. You know what you need to do.
  21. I suggest you go to PGA.com and hook up with a pro who can mentor you.
  22. Go to pga.com and look up pros in your area. Couldn't agree more. Connie DeMattia at Cantigny is really good and he's helped me a lot.
  23. I wouldn't join a club. Too much money, too much hassle. I get on golfnow.com and look for the best specials around me. I get really good discounts and tee times. Nothing better than getting on a different course every week and playing something new instead of the same old course over and over again.
  24. Enjoy your free time. When you have to work for a living and to support your family, you won't have that much free time. That's my story and I'm sticking with it.
  25. More than I wanted to, but still above ground hitting the ball so I'm happy.
