thanks for the info, it just seems like with all the ball technology out there, Ping would want a piece of the pie. Since all the Ping club lines are so successful I'm curious if anyone thinks that they would throw some money into making another run at balls. might be worth it in the long run

It seems as though every major golf company has a line of balls. Ping seems like the only one without. any reason why?

Sun Mountain has a Zero G bag. It has a strap on it that goes around your waist to take the pressure off you back. i think it might be worth checking out

yesterday my meltdown started with a pushed drive on a short par 4. i missed the fairway by probaby 5 yards and ended up in some semi thick rough. i was left with a 40 yard shot over a 6 or 7 foot deep bunker to a pin tucked into the corner of the green and only about 4 or 5 paces on. so instead of going for the hero shot, i just wanted to pitch it to the center and two putt for my par. smart play right? i thought so, until i sculled it about 20 yards over the green into the woods. 1 chip out of the woods rolling down off the heavily sloping green, one chunked chip, a nice lag and a lip out before i finally tapped in for a nice 7

I use a purple sharpie and trace the first T in Titleist. It seems pretty original plus I don't think that many people use purple. works for me

Other than getting there a little early and getting loose, i find that when im on the first tee simply going through my pre-shot routine is all i need. once i get on the first tee box i go through my routine and everything just falls into place. i also find that when everyone is watching it helps me concentrate even more.

Yea those are the balls I'm talking about Kennay. I got mine cheaper than that. Thanks for the info guys, hopefully I can test them out soon. I looked them over and couldn't find any dimple damage or anything else that would change playability. The only things I noticed were incorrect ink markings. I don't think the large practice stamp will bother anything.

Just curious if anyone knew anything about the PRO V1 PRACTICE BALLS? I ordered a couple dozen of them from the golfsmith website and wanted to know if anyone had played them before? I haven't gotten a chance to get out and play them yet. I would have put a little more info about them on here but golfsmith doesn't have them anymore. They were only $30 so I figured it would be worth it. Any info would be nice, thanks

When I was on my high school team I played against a guy that aced the 2 par threes that we played. It was crazy! Needless to say, he beat me, by 3 shots. Other than that I've witnessed two others in my life, one bounced out of the woods and rolled in and the other was just a perfect two bounce then check and in the hole.

I've had two, both were last season. The first was a 210 slightly downhill 5 iron. I was playing as a single and caught up to a threesome on that hole, so atleast I had witnesses. The second was during our Sunday morning bestball, 145 9 iron. It won me a couple hundred dollars cash and some proshop credit.

basfrk11. I was wondering if anyone was going to mention Ping. I've had 3 Ping bags during my golf life, 2 generations of Hoofer and recently bought the Ping 4 Under Stand bag. I love the classic look of Ping bags, as well as how they sit. I think I'm a Ping bag carrier for life unless something new comes out and blows me away.
