  1. Nice weather? Thought your place is covered with snow right now?
  2. Or in short: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And TGC made the rules, the result is their idea of "quality golf instruction" plus making money. Well, I don't like the result. Who cares about my/our opinion/s... Why doesn't TGC give all/the top half of the participating PGA pros a little air time and run their entry? Sure, there were bad ones. But, hey, think Shakespeare - it would not be worse than the croc dudes performance :D
  3. I wonder what the other pros think - some had a decent video production the leave an impression... Did the investment pay off being treated that way by TGC? I think not. Did one of the contestants write to TGC asking for an explanation? But hey, TGC is another money making machine in the golf industry - what did everybody expect? Fairness and decency? It sucks. Really.
  4. Websites and trailers look really nice. Well done. But the DVD is not jet available were I live... So, where are the first reviews?
  5. Been checking back on http://www.thegolfchannel.com/instructor-search/ today - uuhhh, ohhhh. Most interesting was the comment on Wayne Players video tip page Hmmm, what do you all think about it? Best choices?
  6. I meant to the comparison of two swings being reflected in the icon. If Analyzrsss USP is side-by-side comparison, so be it. Joe Golfer tends to draw his lines and is happy with that (at least I suppose V1Home owners do it). Analyzr.? GolfSwingAnalyzr would have nailed it, but is really too long. Swingr (:D), Planr, Stackr would create pictures in the golfers mind. Analyzr not really. Google Things - logo says it all. But not everything can be that easy. That is not to say that you created a nice and professional looking logo. I like them. It is just that the logo and the name have to go together. I just find it hard to "read" the analysis tool from the logo. Ah, don't listen to me, go ahead full tilt! There is always a v2 to keep or change things. Good luck!
  7. Looks like 2.99... Oh, there might be in-app-sales efforts. Say, buy a couple of more green lines or the liquify to to get the transition smoother or ... Hey, were is the beta, can't wait to measure my improvements in degrees :D
  8. Think you have to be sensitive/informed to see the difference of the two pictures. Well, well, I still think the above icon should be the output files icons (analysis, which live in raw on the SD card). How much has an icon to convey in the sales process? A lot. Loosing the LEDs and the double interface buttons is good, since they add no info to the product. Did you try the icon just with the green golfer? KISS (Keep it...)! I'll be taking the light grey icon anyway - that'll be the home version :D Plus I'll take the beta right away, too. Edit: You are too fast for me. That blue looks too cheap. Really!
  9. I like the metal one, because it is clearer, simpler the grasp. I find the card a bit too tech (cheap these days). I feel that your software is about analyzing - and thats not conveyed by a card.
  10. The one-handed-closed-face-power-draw... :D GolfDigest Caption says: Fred's rotating the clubface closed for a power draw. Source is here
  11. My name is Hollister and I am a golf swing video addict... I bought a Casio FC100 in May. I regret to have not bought the FH100 since the FC100 is pretty useless in low light conditions. The latter is my current problem: how do I progress without video at evening range sessions? Slllloooowwwwwwlllyyyyy.... My advice would be, video you swing with whatever you have, like it and invest $250 in a decent cam (e. g. the Casio FC100). It is really, really worth it. You gain distance and can save the money to buy a better xyz-club/driver this year. But, you have to invest a little time in learning to analyze a swing. Took me a while to figure out things to look at.
  12. Hey, you are really flexible when turning! Would do a little less, though on the backswing. Keep the left arm straight through impact (position 7). When the arms are parallel to the ground (position 8), the should be both straight.
  13. Try those guys from the above video - the offer video analysis . I subscribe since April and am very happy with it. My next S&T; pro would be a 1 1/2 hour plane ride away...
  14. 1. No one ridicules a fellow countryman in the vicinity of me being present 2. No one takes me being offended by non-S&T; golf matters serious 3. No one puts Martin in a corner, hell, I do not know where to put him myself 4. No one takes me serious being pro-non-stackers. Really... 5. No one dares to make no fun of me, pleeease!
  15. Cool down - no need to go right wing on someone here. Your statement is very offending...
  16. Every attempt by a novice of anything lacking progress leads to frustration. The ones never being frustrated with their swing, hands up!
  17. Did you try Stack & Tilt yourself?
  18. Muhu, please don't bash my fellow countryman... Really bad performance, though. The least thing Marting could do is smile and keep silent - that was well done :D Even Breed made the best of it, but to the average golfer it is totally misleading. Doesn't the golf channel have editors reviewing such things before airing? Breed should've prevented it. Or was it live?
  19. Bad video - hard to see anything. What I see is: - the head is moving back around impact - the downswing is well under the shaft plane coming way from the inside - when you are done you tend to fall to your backside The rest is hard to see. Just a few questions for you - might be the ones to tackle to eliminate the push: Why are you trying to hit the ball so overly from the inside? Tried getting the shaft on the downswing when it is parallel to the ground pointing to your target? Where does it point currently? Where does your imbalance at the finish come from? Where is your weight at impact? Are you hanging back? Tried straightening the back leg for balance and getting your weight to the front foot? I think your solution lies in the above answers... PS: Do you have a overly strong grip to wrestle the push to just 15 yards (0:56), where a neutral grip would send it to 30+ yards?
  20. Am at it myself - your P6 looks like mine. Think the cause is, that you are already go for the ball instead of maintaining your angles (right elbow, right wrist hinge and wrist cooking) from P4 down. I try to just hold all angles longer. Try to get into Dustins positions in slow-mo and look how long you have to maintain the angles. Also look at the left shoulder FO at P7 (plus both at P5/6 DTL) - it is a complete different feel compared to your current position. Thats what my current thoughts are P4: elbow set, right wrist set, cooking nearly to P5: hold em, increase cooking of the wrists to P6: hold, hold, hold - hell, hold it! to P7: still hold it (rotation and gravity works down the cooked wrists); try to get the hands in front of the left leg to P8: straighten the right arm By now, I am able to do full-speed practice swings and hold everything where it should be. Will put that white thing into play in the next days and see, if I am still overly trigger-happy and throw everything at the ball too early. Just hold it longer, Stretch. Easy. :D
  21. Been seeing a couple of iPhones lately. Some guys seem to be using an app for analysis, too.
  22. Thanks guys, very entertaining :D Ever wondered why it is the "Official World Golf Ranking"? If you like a different perspective, just look at US players only. Or european players , or other tours. Then you might think about how much tournament wins contribute to the OWG ranking. Could it be that wins on US soil have a higher contribution to a players ranking? My conclusion is, that Westwood, Kaymer and a few others do really perform well gathering enough points elsewhere to climb the ranking that far. They earned their place in the current OWGR under the current rules. BTW, can someone explain why the top notch US stars ignore interesting tourneys in Europe like this weeks Dunhill Cup played at Old Course, Carnoustie, and Kingsbarns? Right, it is in Europe. Might an european or asian player have the same attitude towards The McGladrey Classic? Looks like it.
  23. My range, located right in a 2 mio. inhabitants city is too short for the ususal range stones, pardon, balls. So they use softer balls. After one hit your clubface retains a lot of the ball cover layer. So I know where I hit the balls on the clubface. The distance with new rangeballs is say 10 to 20 percent shorter, the worn balls travel about 15 to 30 percent less far and tend to curve unnaturally. Less distance, inaccurate spin/spin axis (horizontal ball flight), what else not right? Is to launch angle and therefore the vertical ball flight OK? That why I asked on what to make of the Trackman results initially. The launch angle is interesting for me. Currently I train hitting down on the ball monitoring impact with a high-speed cam. I could easily measure it on a computer... For now I think that Trackman The Game might be the only use for the $10k+ installation. Accuracy and consistency. Is that a Trackman unit?
  24. What about technique => lag = club head speed = distance Then you still can go pump up your muscles later. Besides, look at the long hitters on the tour. Bubba and Dustin do not look like the guys form the gym - look at their swing videos and compare them to yours. Technique with consistency is the magic key to happy distance. Ommmm....
  25. Yeah, wicked Europeans do stupid things :D 4$? Oh, they are that cheap over there? We usually have to pay 4.80 Euros which are around 7$. Bought some for 4.10$ - a bargain. The ones I picked up came with Ryder Cup 2018 advertising - see my new avatar. Couldn't resist buying them. Guess I try a few Topflites or found balls with the Trackman next spring. Will play the Pentas next year rewarding myself for eager winter practice and hopefully the desired consistency.
