  2. Good to know, thanks.
  3. Watching some footage today got me thinking, you know how the pros just grab a bag or two of balls and hit the range before the round, well they all use different balls (Titleist, Callaway, TM etc...) so does the course offer different balls on the range or would they all just be Pro V1's?

Been to the one in Vegas, it was kinda cool, flashing lights and glow in the dark everything. I'd say it would be fun for a party or booze up, but the golf purist won't get much out of it.
  5. Yeh I look at the 150 or 100 markers and estimate distance, but at present it's educated guessing, I need some hard figures.
  6. How do you guys measure exact yardages? Was thinking of taking the shag bag to the course when it's not busy and using the GPS put some cones down. I don't trust the range with their "premium soft balls" and there aren't a lot of fields around to try this. I also got told off for trying to hit wedges at the local indoor with trackman. Apparently their golf netting isn't setup right to have a high lofted club, the ball dinged into the roof (went through a join) and nearly took out a light.
  7. Golfamania - Sega Master System Tiger 05/06/12/13/14 - PS2/Xbox 360 My faves all time, still play them regularly, shame no one has worked out how to edit the Tiger games as other EA games have various editors/mods available.
  8. I seem to always notice when pros take a warmup or practice swing, to my eye it appears they swing across the line/over the top if you will. As someone who has fought a natural slice for some time, I find it interesting if others see this or is it just my eye? If this is deliberate I'd love to know why they do it?
  9. Found my old Bushnell Neo+ recently after it being packed away in the cupboard from moving house. As I have been more active golf wise lately I decided to fire it up. It still has my old course on it and I thought I'd put my new home course on there. Had nothing but issues so far. First the Bushnell Sync software would not work. After a few hours research I found that it needed java 6.0. So now the app loads up, but in the main view window the pages will not load to select any courses or information. Gives a certificate error about igolf.com. I had heard that maybe igolf went out of business. Just wondering if anyone still uses one of these units and if so how do you upload new courses? Thank
  10. Got the book monday, finished it today. I love reading sportsperson books, but this is only my 2nd golf book (the big miss - 1st). The only things that have helped my game so far are the knees buckling side to side rather than shooting out in front of you, and trying to keep the arms close to the chest. His alignment section seems out of whack compared to modern standards, and if I suppinate my wrist like his I hook like a ####. Overall a great read. Looking at THE IMPACT ZONE next.
  11. Ok thanks. I did search and found this thread. Toe line it is.
  12. Should it be aligned to your feet or the ball?
  13. Anyone going to create the country club for the sandtrap like last year? Chucked in the disc a couple of weeks ago and I'd either been kicked out of the club, or it had closed.
  14. My slice was fixed instantly with changing the grip. Try making your grip a little stronger until you get the desired shot.
  15. How many rounds per tournament do you guys play in season mode
