  1. Tiger is the best golfer in the world... it is still early to define as the most successful player in history... but right now he is the number one. A lot of people may perceive his talent, dominance, and confidence as arrogance, but I personally disagree. When you are the best, you look and act like the best. In a recent interview before the Australian Open Final, Roger Federer, who is reigning supreme in Tennis, said: " I know that I am very dominant and I will win this tournament." Did he sound arrogant? To me not, because it is the bare truth... whether you like it or not. I have opened another thread regarding Tiger's presence on the Tour and in Golf. It looks pretty evident to me that Tiger has given a lot to the modern Golf. More people following, more people playing, more people making money. He is the king. "Long Live to the King!"
  2. I think yes... he can win the Grand slam any another time.. but he will have the chance to attend his first child birth only once! Tiger is committed to be in golf history but he also values other things in life... that's why he is so great and why he has done so much in both golf and society.
  3. Sorry Iacas, I am still new on this forum and I did not know how to creat a poll.....
  4. I can agree with you if Jeff Quinney develops a stronger short game play It will be very good for the game of golf if we finally have a contender to Tiger!
  5. JD is not himself ... and I worry if he can make a comeback at this point of his career.... It's sad because he has still so much game left!!
  6. Damned! I just realized that we have a lot of minors as forum users.... I apologize for this.... hopefully, we can create a rating thread system... PG13, R rated, etc.
  7. wow.... I can feel some "electricity" going on....

  12. Hi Pez! Welcome aboard! Look forward to see your posts on the forum! Hey, so you are from Jacksonville.... I attended a semester at JU - Jacksonville University in 1995... it was just awesome! If you need any advice, please don't hesitate! Itae
  13. any opinions on who is greater? Roger or Tiger?
  14. Tiger has won the Buick again! It seems that there is no one who can stop him! I don't care if the younger players can get to his level of play... but we have a lack of personality! We need some new young player, aggressive and cocky in every part of the game and comments, who can compete on the same level of mentality!
  15. IMO, 20 more years. He will have won everything by the age of 42, but he will leave golf after a bit taste of senior tour.
  16. Golf Course Designer/architect That would be a very nice job too!
  17. A friend of mine told this one..... sometime they play a match play not for money but for golf clubs! When a player goes 1 up, he can choose 1 club from his opponent bag!! It sounds to be a pretty exciting game!
  18. How about David Leadbetter's DVDs set?
  19. Does anyone go to the gym to get fit? I was trying to sign up in one but I was wondering how many of you guys think a gym is good to keep healthy/fit for next spring season.
  20. Another best golf moment to share..... My first time I beat my father at a match play at his home course. My father is an official 12.3 handicap but he plays 2-3. He is not so long from the tees and with his irons, but he can chip and putt like pros! (it's always 1 chip and 1 putt!) In addition, he is a fierce 'mouth' competitor, as he can make you literally go balistic with his comments during a round! Whatever he can not achieve with his golf shots, he attains it with his mouth and comments! For example, let's say he is putting from spot very close to yours and in a very rare occasion he misses a 3 foot putt to right because he actually pushed it, he would say "oh, it's breaking a lot!!" Well, I used to be a very poor putter and those kind of words would not definitely help me at all! Anyway, in general I have always been a bit distracted by many things on the course, but the day I beat my father, nothing could stop me! Every comments, every good shots by my father was followed by a more superb shot and I got to such as high level of concentration that I could hear nothing around me! At the end of the round, my father congratulated with me and said: "Now, you finally got matured enough and you can focus for 4 hours on the course!" He never beat me again.
  21. Welcome from another 'Jersey boy'!
  22. welcome!
  23. Welcome silkysmooth! You must be a hell of a player! Handicap index +1... especially in Minnesota! How do you keep up with your game during winter time? Hope to get some good advice! Anyway, good luck and I look forward to see you in the forum!
  24. On your 735.CM irons, do you have the chrome version or the stainless version?
