  1. Been doing some research on the Net, I decided to draw an arrow on my balls. It would help you line up the ball in putting. I'll let you know how if the balls make a difference on the green.
  2. My best iron definitely has to be my 6 iron. I get good height with about 150-170 yards distance.
  3. No, I don't find it that strange. I hate having to wait for things, especially new clubs. Let us know what the clubs are like when you get them
  4. Not really that slow for me, just when I sign-in.
  5. Mine is my Powerlift 1 Driver, 10 degree, 420cc. On a good day, I can hit about 200 yards with it. What's your best/favourite club?
  6. Yeah, I was just thinking of that question
  7. I wouldn't consider this good, but rather lucky. Was at the course today on the 17th hole, par 4 I think. At the tee, there was about 170-200 yards of pond in front on me. With my 3 driver in hand, I drove. I didn't know what happened to my ball until I got to the other side if this pond (FYI: There was a little, yet steep, hill with a grassy shore; about 3-4 feet long.) I found my ball right at the post of one of the wooden fences, just inches away from the water. I sure sure happy that it didn't go into the water, and did better than one of my friends who hit it in the water 2 times.
  8. Who here knows anyone with really long tees that they sharpen manually, when they break?
  9. I have a friend who makes dots on his ball with a gray marker. It's not distracting a fairly easy to spot
  10. I like that idea! It would keep a good mood on the course.
  11. That's true, I guess it's just up to personal taste in the end
  12. Thanks for the tips and the links. I'll try to slow down next time I play.
  13. Yes, I do swing fast. I will definatly get my swing checked out though, just to check Thanks!
  14. Hit a 10-15 yard putt on the 13th hole at a local course. The course was a par 4; about 410 yards, that curved left at about 130-150 yards. Ended up getting a nice birdie.
  15. I personally don't mark mine. I find that there is no need seeing that I don't play with a lot of people at one time.
  16. Try your local golf store. They should have kits that allow you to customize your ball.
  17. A good idea, but I might take some time for me. What are some good general tips to follow though? P.S. I know that I have a faster swing.
  18. I got a set of 3 Powerlift drivers; a 1 10 degree, a 3 15 degree, and a 5 21 degree. I am primarily focusing on the 1 Driver for now. I can hit about 150 yards with it, which isn't that good (I do make up for it elsewhere though). Does anyone have any tips, suggestions, or anything that could help me break about 180+ yards? Thank you, Uncle Peter
  19. I was interested in getting a nice 22 degree Taylormade Burner Hybrid. When I was at the local golf store, I noticed that some were stiff, and some were regular. I know that it has something to do with the shaft. What's the difference between a stiff and a regular hybrid?
  20. I also hear that Callaway sand wedges are pretty good also
  21. I only play without a glove on very hot days. Other than that I wear one all of time, even when I'm putting
  22. I mostly use Top Flite XL7000's but have a few Wilsion Prostaffs.
  23. I have a 50 degree Dunlop Powerlift PW. I could probably hit about 75 yards with it, probably 85 on a good day. Also, I'm looking to get a nice sand wedge. Any suggestions?
  24. I agree with Chubbs. I have some wooden tees, and some plastic tees in my bag, but I'm not picky as to which one I use. I do prefer however to tee the ball up a little higher.
