I just upgraded to digital cable today with a cool dvr. Hope to have hdtv by the Masters!

Looks like team Hogan will win the Bob Hope! Moving up the leaderboard and staring you down like a "Hawk". Charlie freakin Hoffman. I was just hoping he'd make the cut!!

I was playing my friend in a heated match one afternoon at Weatherwax, a nice public course, when he hit his tee shot on a short uphill par 3 into the woods. He could never find his ball and I always had to help him search and would almost always have trouble finding my ball after helping him. Since we were in the moment of trying to kick each others butts, I decided I wasn't going to help him find his ball and just walked to the green and began to line up my putt. He was taking forever and I kept hollering at him to come on and take a drop. After what seemed like 10 minutes he came out of the woods and dropped a ball and played to the green. When he finally arrived at the green I asked what the hell had taken so long. He said while walking to the tree line to look for his ball he let out a fart the turned out not to be a fart. He went into the woods to take off his underwear, cleaned himself up with some leaves. He had left his underwear behind and would have to finish the round without them. This worked out great for me because he was so uncomfortable and became chafed from all the walking, I kicked his butt and had a good laugh all the while!

WOW, I could play 18 holes in ten minutes with that thing!

Playing with my 9 year old son this past year, his first real 9 holes (after 6 lessons) he chipped one in from about 30 yards out on hole #4. Tough shot, uphill with a 3 foot right to left break. It brought tears to my eyes. He's been playing since he was 5 but this was his first serious round. He shot a 65 with a nine on a par 4 with an island green. Best day of my golf life!

Off the tee - 5 wood off the deck, straight as an arrow. But my go to club and my new best friend is my wedge. If my wife would let me I'd sleep with it!

I don't know guys, this could be a good thing. Can you imagine her at the age of twenty playing in the ryder cup wearing one of her famous skin tight mini skirts? That might distract a fella. She'd have to wear a shirt with a picture of a doughnut on it to distract Monty though.

Oh, I didn't realize you guys have used ESPN before...I'll shut up about it then I usually don't play in two different games because I never know who's on which team but I wanted to be with the group. I've been playing ESPN games for years. Maybe if we all send them feedback they will make some positive changes.

I just sent them some feedback suggesting showing our team scorecard during the rounds. Hope it will help. I know I am pushing this pretty hard but if you want to see a fantasy site that rocks ESPN blows the Salary Cap game away. If you guys would just sign up for one week just to try it you would see what I mean. They show your teams scorecard and the group page with each teams total score that updates as play goes on. I think today we measure greatness by Majors. Thats why Tigers eye is always on the majors. He knows to be considered the greatest, he has to top Jack. It's going to be fun to watch.

Okay, I have that fixed, they changed my password again. 16th place Why did I take Pavin My team salary is now listed at 1,204,250. Do I need to get back under the $1mil limit? On ESPN when your guy goes up in value you keep him at the price you paid for him until you drop him. I'm new to this game, are we going to be able to see our teams scorecard as the rounds are played? I don't like not being able to see my progress or lack there of. On ESPN you can see your teams scorecard and it updates every hole. You can also, after the lockout period, see everyone in the leagues team.

I want to trash talk but I can't. The salary cap web site sucks! They sent me a new password that dosen't work. When I sign in it shows my team name but when I click on it I go back to the sign in page. Are you guys having any trouble? Did they send you a new password?

But......I still say Ben Hogan was better than them all.. I'm just too tired to argue Here is Tigers stats to date..... 54 wins, 10 Majors. He needs 19 more wins and 8 Majors. Thats a lot of golf my friends! Sure he'll probably get there. The way players keep in shape today. In Jacks days you were older than dirt at 40. Guys like Vijay are hitting thier prime at 40 today.

I woudn't say Lee (29 wins, 6 Majors) or Tom (39 wins, 8 Majors) to Jacks 73 wins, 18 Majors was "having the Bears number". And my friend, they deffinately didn't eclipse him. This thread is not about Lee or Tom being compared to Tiger is it? I'm not saying that Tiger isn't better than Jack or that he won't surpass him, I'm just saying some of the arguments in this thread about Jack not having the level of competitors that Tiger does is not just. Tiger will surpass Jack's numbers someday, but he hasn't yet. Lets not knock the King from his throne too prematurely. If Tiger goes into a slump the rest of his career and finishes with lets say 15 majors and 65 wins, is he better than Jack???? I think he would fall short. Jack was just as exciting as Tiger when he came on the seen. He was the young Fat Jack trying to dethrone Arnold and Hogan. He outdrove everyone by miles and won every major played for years. And he also took down a pretty good field of players in the 1986 Masters at the age of 46. Do you know what Tigers back will feel like at the age of 46 the way he swings a club. And after a few good years of carrying around Tiger jr??? He's simply not there yet. Jack did just as much if not more for the game of golf as Tiger has, just in different ways. Jack brought the sport into the mainstream of sports. Made it comparable to football, baseball etc, Tiger is making the game popular with Minorities and kids. All these great things you guys feel and think about Tiger have been done. I was here and watched Jack do them. Give the king his props! (well Arnold is the King, Jack would be the Emperor and Tiger is the well accomplished prince)
